Carl, a young boy, spends all his birthday money on a toy robot he imagines will be fifty feet tall and able to shoot light beams. When the package arrives it holds only a small robot, and Carl is deeply disappointed. His neighbor Stillwater, a panda, tells him a story about his friend Dahlia, who planted melon seeds, grew pumpkins by mistake, and turned them into a pie everyone loved. Carl decides he can still have fun with the robot in a different way and plays imaginative adventures with Addy and the others.

Superhero Squabble

Donkey Hodie and her best friend Panda play superheroes and invent a mission to protect a mailbox from a made-up 'mailbox snacker'. They disagree about whose pretend power is better, and the argument grows until they declare maybe they should not be friends anymore. Each one takes a deep breath to calm down, sings about whether their friendship is over, and works up the courage to apologize. They make up, agree that friends can argue and still be best friends, and team up to finish their superhero game.

Hawthorn the Adventurer

Hawthorn, a careful WizKid, sets out on his first quest to reach One-Eyed Rock before sundown, joined by his bold friend Pinecone and the frog Blaze. Pinecone keeps pushing him to drop his planning and follow instinct, and a magic sweatband from a curious shop briefly turns Hawthorn reckless. When a stone giant snatches Pony and Blaze, Hawthorn removes the sweatband, thinks clearly, and uses his packed supplies and research to free them. The two friends finish the quest together and agree that both their adventuring styles have value.

In a sunny kindergarten classroom, the teacher Calypso settles a disagreement after Rusty is accused of ruining a game. As each child tells their side, the episode shows two pretend stories: a baby hospital where Indy cares for her premature baby Polly, and a knight who rescues a king's daughter from a dragon. The confusion turns out to be over Rusty asking for 'crutches' while the girls thought he said something rude. Once everyone understands, Rusty apologises, Indy welcomes him back, and the children carry on playing together.

The Future Is Cardboard

Craig meets Carter Brown, a boy obsessed with cardboard who recruits him to help build and mobilise an elaborate cardboard city. Absorbed in the project, Craig pushes away his friends Kelsey and JP, and they wander off and discover another cardboard town Carter once abandoned. When Carter uses a giant cardboard robot to crush the rival city, Craig realises building means nothing without his friends. The three reunite, stop the robot, and Carter storms off vowing to return.

Belt or Bust

In the fantasy town of Sturdy Stone, a traveling saleswoman called Granny Cutie trades enchanted belts for the villagers' treasured old belongings. Pinecone and her pony miss out and, encouraged by Hawthorne, build a belt of their own from workshop materials, which friends first mock. When Granny is exposed as the shapeshifting witch Magpie, whose belts were fake magic, Pinecone leads the group to confront her. Using their homemade belt gadgets they defeat Magpie, recover everyone's items, and the handmade belts become the new trend.

Mystery Toy

Jessica and her friends Myra, Stanley, and Felix find a mysterious green disc on the playground and take turns imagining it as a pizza pan, a tour bus wheel, a super shield, and a sled. Jessica's Daddy joins the play and reminds them to give the toy back if its owner appears. When a girl arrives looking for her lost 'Hexa Whirl,' the children return it right away. It turns out to be a flying disc, and everyone ends the day playing catch together.

Ty's Superhero

She apologises, the friends talk about standing up when something is unfair, and everyone reunites to build the playset and share lunch.

Batuu Bonanza

On the planet Batuu, young Jedi Kai, Lys and Nubs arrive at Black Spire Outpost with their droid friends to deliver a package to Master Draw. They keep getting distracted by the sights and lose the package to a trash hauler, which carries it toward a junk dump where it is about to be recycled. Working as a team, they stop the machinery just in time and recover it. They deliver the package, admit they got distracted, and set off to explore the outpost together.

Gotcha Goop

Zoey, also known as the superhero Starbeam, prepares a surprise birthday party for her grandfather at home with her mom and younger brother Henry. While Gramps is away on a fishing trip, the shape-shifting villain Goop sneaks into the house disguised as a present, trying to steal the beam key to free his boss Todd. Zoey and her mom split up to search the house, fail with a first bubble-blast attempt, then trap Goop in a vacuum gadget. The episode ends with the surprise party landing successfully and Gramps saying his birthday wish has already come true.

A Little Birdy Told Me

Kiya, Motsie and Jay build a bird feeder in their park, where Jay attracts a bird by playing his guitar. Prima Donna captures the bird and a cageful of others to force her pet Unipug to learn to fly, so the three friends transform into the Kimoja Heroes to get them back. Jay frees the birds but they scatter across the city, and he is torn between keeping his new friend Zazzy and letting him lead the flock home. The team gathers the birds with seed and Jay's music, and the episode ends at the park with the flock back where it belongs.

The Parachute Truck

Rocky, a rocket car, is asked to show off his tricks and loops through the sky above the town until something goes wrong and he starts to fall. His friends decide to call Carl, and a fire engine and ambulance head to the landing platform while Carl prepares in his workshop. Carl fits himself with a parachute and folding wings, transforms into Super Truck, and flies out to catch Rocky in mid-air. Rocky comes down safely, the others congratulate Carl, and the episode ends with 'Tot de volgende keer!' ('See you next time!').
