Bluey and her friends Coco, Snickers and Indy invent a game in the park where the grass is dangerous and only the shadows are safe to walk on. Together they work out how to cross open sunny patches, helping each other along the way as they head towards the ice-cream van. The story stays inside one continuous game with no villain and no real danger. At the end, Bluey's mum arrives to collect them and the game ends with the children safely reaching their goal.

The episode ends at the park, where they seal a leak in the bottle and launch their spaceship together with the whole class.

Emma reassures him, helps him clean up, Sula finds dry pants in the lost basket, and Bing reflects that next time he will go before playing or stop the game to use the toilet.

Bing soon finds he does not enjoy playing alone, so he drives Charlie's potato back and the two play together. The episode ends with Bing deciding that playing together is more fun.

Pinecone apologises, reunites the group, and they perform a song they wrote together about a place built on everyone's voice.

Dad explains that once money is spent it is gone, and the coins then pass from hand to hand around the market until they land in a busker's guitar case. The episode closes with Bluey losing another tooth.

When the lift leaves him stuck on a branch, he asks his friends for help and they carry him the rest of the way. At the top he finds Conga and Bongo building a treetop roller coaster, and everyone joins in to finish it.
