Wagon Ride

Along the route Dad keeps stopping to chat with neighbours, and Bluey grows impatient and interrupts, so Dad teaches her to rest a hand on his arm and wait. Bluey practises the signal and succeeds, while Bingo invents a pretend bus when the wagon 'breaks down.' The episode ends with the family arriving at the monkey bars and Bingo still happily playing bus.

In the Dark of Day

Molly, Trini and Oscar walk home from school in an Alaska village where the winter sun sets in the early afternoon, and Oscar is sure a monster is waiting in the dark. The friends look up sunset times on a weather website, learn about the winter solstice, and try several plans to face the creature. Auntie Midge tells a story about a wolf pup who overcomes its fear of the dark by finding a pack. Emboldened by his friends, Oscar finally confronts the monster and finds it is just a large pile of snow.

A young boy named Eddie is told he needs new trainers because his old ones are worn out and his feet have grown. A warm off-screen narrator walks him through the whole trip to the shoe shop, from waiting in a short queue and having his feet measured to choosing, trying on, and paying for a pair. Along the way small hurdles come up, like disliking having his feet touched and the shark shoes being out of stock, and each is talked through calmly. The episode ends with Eddie deciding on the dinosaur shoes and feeling ready to go.

Little Nutbrown Hare sets out one spring morning and finds a small yellow creature following him everywhere. He visits Field Mouse, Grey Squirrel, Redwood Fox, and White Owl, ruling out each animal until he realises the creature is a lost duckling. By the river the duckling is reunited with its mother, and the hare returns home at sunset to tell his father about the day and share a loving goodnight exchange.

Secret Santa

With Mama's help he shops for a present, practices with the class band, and waits eagerly at bedtime hoping for snow. The episode ends with real snowflakes falling as everyone rides a sled train and wishes each other a merry Christmas.

The Pool

Bingo grows increasingly bored, cold and hungry until Mum arrives with everything that was left behind. The day is saved and Dad admits that boring things are important sometimes.

When the questions pile up, he is reminded he can look to his teacher and take his time. He finishes his talk, gets a 'marshmallow clap' and says he is proud of himself.

Trampoline

Bluey and Bingo want their dad to stay home instead of going to work, so they invent a game turning the backyard trampoline into a toaster, juicer and frying pan to make him breakfast. Dad plays along through toast, juice and eggs before he finally has to leave, telling Bluey that making up games is an important job of her own. After a sad goodbye the girls keep playing, inventing a salad spinner game and inviting Mum to join. The episode stays in the family's sunny suburban backyard from morning through their imaginative play.

Max Misses The Bus

Both stories end with Carl succeeding, keeping the sweater for his teddy bear and managing the new route on his own.

Noticing that nobody in the family likes their dressed-up clothes, she suggests everyone wear what they truly want. The family agrees, sings together, and poses for the photo just as they are.
