When the greedy Gimme Pig swoops in and starts stealing Polly's ingredients and her fish Gil, the team springs into action across Metro Pet Island. They fail when each hero acts alone and again when they split into rival plans, then finally tie up the villain's machine and hit its off button by working as one team. Gimme Pig runs off and everyone ends up groomed for a final photo.

Using what they learned, that seeds tempt a baby bird out, and a sunbeam reflected off the ice, they melt the fountain and turn the villain's blaster against him. The episode ends with the baby bird reunited with its mama.

Wingo the bird cannot complete the loop because his smaller wing slips off the controls, and he becomes discouraged. While Dax encourages him, the greedy Gimme Pig steals all their suits through his tunnels and captures Dax. Trapped in the hideout, Wingo works out an adaptive way to fly the loop and turn the crank, freeing the gear, defeating the pig and escaping.

When a piglet named Prescott goes missing, Dax and his pets head into Monkey Wrench's shifting funhouse vehicle, where the trickster sets riddles, fake doors and decoy pigs in their way. The easily distracted rabbit Hopper has to use the breathing technique to settle himself, listen for the real Prescott and bring him out. The piglet is reunited with his family and the team heads back to the beach.
