Princess Pinecone, an eight-year-old archer, is thrilled to meet her hero Prince Randolph at a garden party, but he is arrogant and dismissive. Stung by his taunts, she challenges him to an archery duel with her trophy at stake, and when he cheats with his falcon she cheats back using a wizard's magic arrows. On the verge of winning, she confesses to the crowd that she used enchanted arrows and does not deserve the prize. The king makes Randolph return the trophy, and the group shares cake as Pinecone decides she would rather be herself than be like the prince.

Hoopin' Hopper

A travelling troupe led by Luna the Moon, with her young friends Andy the frog, Leo the wombat, and Carmen the butterfly, spends the episode in Beijing. They take on the city's love of sport, shooting hoops on outdoor courts and facing a table-tennis match where Luna plays an opponent named Fong. A short felt stop-motion legend set in the Chinese countryside is woven in, and the story closes with the match resolved and the friends together before the credits and a closing logo.

A Bouncy Adventure

Hatty the hamster invites her three friends Ruff Ruff the dog, Tweet the bird and Dave the panda on a bouncy adventure to bouncy land. They explore who can bounce highest, compare objects that bounce against a rock that does not, and have to figure out how to rescue Hatty's hat after it lands in a tree. Using the bouncy castle as a launchpad, Ruff Ruff retrieves the hat and the friends ride the spin again back home. The episode closes with a final guessing game about who will fall asleep first.

The foreman Bozer turns this into the official Machine Challenge, with lifting, dumping and loading events. Diggs loses the first two and decides he is no good at anything, until he wins the speed loading challenge. He learns that everyone is good at something, and the cleared site lets the crew move on to laying cables.

Elias

Swifty, a small bouncy boat, challenges Elias the red rescue boat to a race around Gull Island. When Swifty vanishes, the lighthouse Big Blinky hears strange singing and decides a mermaid has returned, which sends Trolley and the other boats rushing to spread the news. Elias searches the coast and finds Swifty stuck on the rocks, the real source of the singing. He frees his friend, the mermaid turns out to be Swifty all along, and they head home talking about another race and fixing Big Blinky's broken light.

Wimpy Smurf's Strength

Wimpy Smurf brags he is stronger than Hefty and challenges him to a 'Smurf Off' obstacle course. Wimpy wins the first round when Hefty slips, earns the new name 'Heftier', and gloats. Smurfette dresses as a fortune teller named Cassandra and predicts a meteorite will fall on the strongest Smurf, scaring Wimpy into throwing the rematch so Hefty wins. The trick is revealed, then a real rock falls from the sky and Wimpy shouts in time for Hefty to dodge.
