She gets stuck on the missing New Zealand piece, decides to make 'missing posters' and stick them on the fridge, and the trick works when Bluey comes home and spots the piece, answering the family's question about what colour kiwi birds are.

Warm at last, Baby heads out, sees the snow-covered rooftop and decides winter is not so bad, and the episode closes with all three doing the happy penguin pose in the snow.

Bingo finally remembers she hid Floppy inside the pretend chicken rat egg to keep her safe, and the toy is found. The family settles down with warm goodnights.

Everyone returns in time to watch the meteor shower together through the repaired telescope.

They discover the sound comes from jilly-toads driven out of their flooded home by the town's heavy festival float. The town moves the float, frees the toads and celebrates together, agreeing to keep the tradition without harming the swamp.

In the end the farmer reveals it is a goat seesaw, and George has already figured out how to use it to gather apples.

On the way in they pass trumpeting flowers, drumming flowers and jingling vines, and Doe, who is nervous about the dark forest, writes each new sound down as the group's expert. After Doe finds the guitar bush and Ray picks a new guitar, they realise nobody remembers the route home. Doe works out that they can retrace the sounds in reverse order, and the friends listen their way back out of the forest.
