Sad Baby

Star is leading a yoga session with her pups on the terrace when Baby announces that winter ruins everything and heads inside to hibernate. Star first moves the yoga mat indoors and then offers freshly baked biscuits, but neither lifts his mood. Slivington points out that Baby keeps shivering, so Star sews him a full winter outfit with earmuffs, boots and a padded coat. Warm at last, Baby heads out, sees the snow-covered rooftop and decides winter is not so bad, and the episode closes with all three doing the happy penguin pose in the snow.

Fireworks

Bing is excited to watch fireworks from his garden with Flop, while friends Pando, Coco and Charlie play nearby. Sula arrives wearing earmuffs because she does not like the bangs, and Bing insists he is brave enough to go outside. When a huge rocket bangs overhead Bing races back in and hides under the kitchen table, upset by the noise. Flop adapts a pair of oven mitts into 'ear gloves' so Bing can step back to the window and enjoy the rest of the fireworks safely, and Bing recaps the lesson to the viewer at the end.

The Meteor Shower

On a night on Puffin Rock, young puffin Una and her family and friends set out to watch the August meteor shower together. Along the way they gather hedgehogs, owls and others heading for the sand dunes, while a narrator explains how shooting stars are made. When Una learns her friend Silky is too worried to come, she leaves the show to reassure her and offers to stay by her side. Silky joins them, the friends welcome her with a berry, and the whole island watches the meteor shower together.

3, 2, 1 Liftoff!

Lyla, a girl who solves problems step by step with her blue companion Stu, joins a classroom project to build model spaceships with a partner. She teams up with Joey, a new boy, on a water-powered rocket, but Joey keeps going quiet and slipping away whenever the group gets big. Over two days Lyla realizes Joey feels shy in crowds, and she finds ways to include him one person at a time while they work out why their rocket won't fly. The episode ends at the park, where they seal a leak in the bottle and launch their spaceship together with the whole class.

Bing, a young rabbit, and his friend Pando find a new climbing frame at the park with steps, a tippy tunnel, a rope ladder and a wobbly bridge. At the top, Bing is scared of the very high slide and tells his carer Flop he does not like it. With Flop's patience, and after watching Pando and the toy Hoppity Voosh go down first, Bing slides down himself and enjoys it. He ends by recapping that when you are scared, you can watch someone else try first.

At Grizzly Ted's summer day camp, Sister Bear and her friend Lizzy spend their days swimming, hiking, and doing crafts, until the counselor announces an overnight sleep-out on Skull Rock. Sister secretly dreads sleeping so far from home and hides her worry until Lizzy gently draws it out of her. Together they decide to practice with a night in the backyard, and Sister succeeds. She heads to the real sleep-out feeling ready, sharing a campfire story and searching for shooting stars.

Three Bite Rule

Pete the Cat helps his friend Grumpy the toad, who refuses to eat anything but flies, learn the 'three-bite rule': try something at least three times before deciding if you like it. Guided by Pete's patience, Grumpy works through his fear, first watching others try new things, then finally tasting a banana at the school potluck. He dislikes the banana but is proud he tried, and goes on to sample cauliflower, egg burritos, acorns and French toast. The episode ends with Grumpy urging Pete to take his turn tasting flies.

Slumber Party

Hank, a young boy, hosts his first slumber party with his three friends: Trash Truck, a bear named Donny and a raccoon named Walter. They tour his bedroom, eat pizza, wash up, watch a bit of TV and then settle into a tent in the backyard. Not Feeling the Fireworks

Star hands out party hats at her pink hotel and announces that this New Year's Eve there will be fireworks on the rooftop terrace. Her pups back out once they hear about the loud bangs, so Star first tries getting them to face their fear by playing loud sounds in the park, which only upsets them. She then offers her own headphones, the pups test them by asking her to play something loud, and it works. Extra headphones are arranged for the other dogs, and the whole group watches the fireworks together and wishes each other a happy New Year.

Together We're Not Alone

Doe accidentally knocks over Ray's guitar while dancing, so the three friends set off for the Falsetto Forest, the place where new guitars grow. On the way in they pass trumpeting flowers, drumming flowers and jingling vines, and Doe, who is nervous about the dark forest, writes each new sound down as the group's expert. After Doe finds the guitar bush and Ray picks a new guitar, they realise nobody remembers the route home. Doe works out that they can retrace the sounds in reverse order, and the friends listen their way back out of the forest.

Musical Mabels

Cody and the Helpsters, monsters who love to solve problems, run a shop where a band called the Mabels arrives in a panic after a black hole swallows their instruments before a concert. The Helpsters make a plan, work out what each member plays, and build a washtub bass and bucket drums from everyday objects. When the singer loses his voice, a young fan named Scatter overcomes his nerves and sings in his place. The episode ends with the whole group performing together at the concert.
