Outside he builds a snow bear all by himself, adding buttons, a hat and Father Bear's scarf. In the end he realises that playing has warmed him up and he is not cold at all.

The story cuts between the cubs' happy week and the parents' trip, where Papa keeps meeting small mishaps. The family reunites at the end, with the cubs asking to visit Gran and Gramps again and everyone planning a family vacation.
