The episode ends with a song about sandcastles and memories and a plan to come back and build again tomorrow.

When the sun is almost down and they have not managed everything, Doug notices people simply lying on the sand and discovers that relaxing is the point. He returns home and builds a relaxing beach so his tired parents can unwind too.
