The Whale Episode
Sid wants to know how to measure a giant blue whale with the small ruler his dad gave him. He carries the question through breakfast, a classroom survey and a lab session where Teacher Susie shows the class how to measure using shoes, blocks and their own bodies, a method called non-standard measurement. After a story from grandma and helping his dad measure wood for a toy whale, Sid invents a 'whale ruler' of identical toy whales lined up to count. The episode closes with Sid reminding viewers to keep asking questions.
Miffy's Gifts from Boris
Miffy visits her friend Boris Bear, who is sawing wooden planks in the woods. Boris shows her the table, bench and walls he has built from planks, then offers to make her something while she guesses what it will be. She guesses table, bench and box before realising it is a little wooden wagon. Boris pulls her home in her new wagon and the episode closes with a brief river scene featuring another character and a credits screen.
Silent Treatment
George, a quiet moose in the town of Elwood City, becomes convinced his friends never notice him, so he decides to stop talking until someone does. A dream in which his dummy Wally shows a world where George never existed helps him realise he does matter. His friends, who had been secretly planning a surprise party, reveal that he won the woodworking contest, and the group ends up playing hide-n-seek together. Real children then share their own funny misunderstandings.
