Hide and Seek

In a woodland home, Little Bear and his friends Duck, Hen, Cat, and Owl decide to play hide-and-seek, and Duck finally gets his wish to be the seeker. He closes his eyes and counts to ten while the others hide, then searches the forest, finding each friend by spotting footprints and following sounds. Once everyone is found, Little Bear heads home. There he surprises Mother Bear with a playful 'Boo!' at the washing line.

Two brothers, Carl and Michael, accidentally soak their sister Addy with water balloons and knock her freshly baked cupcakes into the mud, then hide because they fear she will be angry. Their neighbor, a panda named Stillwater, finds them and, while they help him pull weeds, tells a story about a gardener named Arjun who kept putting off a small task until it grew impossible. The brothers realize hiding will not help and apologize to Addy, who forgives them and shares a new batch of cupcakes. The episode ends with everyone playing together with water balloons.

Not Feeling the Fireworks

Her pups back out once they hear about the loud bangs, so Star first tries getting them to face their fear by playing loud sounds in the park, which only upsets them. She then offers her own headphones, the pups test them by asking her to play something loud, and it works. Extra headphones are arranged for the other dogs, and the whole group watches the fireworks together and wishes each other a happy New Year.

Jessy uses her curiosity to try one idea after another, ducking his head, covering his ears, then facing the noise, until they discover the thunder and lightning is really cloud horses racing in the sky. Once Nessie understands what is happening, his fear fades. He joins the race and crosses the finish line first.

Simon and his little brother Gaspard are playing in their grandparents' garden when their grandfather explains that a tiny elf comes out at night to paint the green tomatoes red. Convinced the elf might be real, the brothers sneak outside with a blanket and hide under a table to keep watch. They get spooked by an owl, fall asleep, and miss the elf entirely. In the morning the tomatoes are red, the grandparents are revealed to have slept nearby the whole time, and the boys find a small pot in the garden that convinces them the elf exists.

Bailey and the Doggy Doctor

In a sunny construction yard, a crew of builder pups is finishing a new office for Dr. Barkley when the youngest pup, Bailey, gets a splinter and grows afraid of having it removed. To stall, Bailey draws on the plans and hides the crew's tools, until they realise she is scared and rebuild the office with a ball pit and a slide to make the doctor feel fun. With encouragement from her family and a song about the 'right tool for the job', Bailey lets Dr. Barkley tweeze out the splinter. She ends the day proud, with a lollipop for the whole crew.

Square's Different Day

Square lives on a sunny island of cube houses and loves his unchanging routine: he wakes, makes his bed, brushes his teeth and spends each day carrying blocks out of a cave to a pile on the hill. When his friend Circle mistakes one block for a sculpture and asks him to carve a perfect circle of her, Square tries all day and night and accidentally grinds the whole block into rubble. He wakes convinced he has failed and thinks about hiding in his cave forever. Circle returns, sees the leftover rock as a perfect likeness of herself and calls him a genius.

Cleo's Fair Share

Cleo, a small purple dog, is given a brand new toy and decides she does not want to share it with her friends Clifford and T-Bone. For several days she dodges their invitations to play, hiding the toy and making up excuses, while the other two have fun together with an old tire. Eventually Cleo admits she kept the toy to herself and realizes that playing alone is no fun. She joins her friends and they play with the toy together.
