Fig Finds A Shadow

Fig, a young blue fox, finds a flashlight and notices a shadow he does not understand. With a hedgehog friend he heads into a dark cave to explore, shining the light to make shadows grow, shrink, and change shape. They pass glowing crystals and try making different shadow figures along the way. By the end, Fig works out that the mysterious shape is simply his own shadow.

Springy Surprise

After finding a coiled spring in his finding tree, he spends the episode discovering how it bounces and stretches through playful experiments. The Jökulhlaup Is on Us

Molly, an Alaska Native girl, learns that a glacial flood called a jokulhlaup could wash away Auntie Cecilia's old fishing cabin by Lake Kaya. Using Nina's 3D topographical map, Molly and her friends find higher ground out of the flood zone, then work out how to slide the cabin there on a bed of logs. The cabin is moved safely and Molly discovers the family doll she lost as a baby. The episode ends with the family settling the cabin into its new home.

The Meteor Shower

On a night on Puffin Rock, young puffin Una and her family and friends set out to watch the August meteor shower together. Along the way they gather hedgehogs, owls and others heading for the sand dunes, while a narrator explains how shooting stars are made. When Una learns her friend Silky is too worried to come, she leaves the show to reassure her and offers to stay by her side. Silky joins them, the friends welcome her with a berry, and the whole island watches the meteor shower together.

3, 2, 1 Liftoff!

Lyla, a girl who solves problems step by step with her blue companion Stu, joins a classroom project to build model spaceships with a partner. She teams up with Joey, a new boy, on a water-powered rocket, but Joey keeps going quiet and slipping away whenever the group gets big. Over two days Lyla realizes Joey feels shy in crowds, and she finds ways to include him one person at a time while they work out why their rocket won't fly. The episode ends at the park, where they seal a leak in the bottle and launch their spaceship together with the whole class.

Tusk, Tusk, and More Tusk

Molly and her friends Tooey and Trini discover a large tusk buried in the mud near the river in their Alaska village. Grandpa Nat and an archaeologist named Olin Benedict identify it as a woolly mammoth tusk and explain the Ice Age, permafrost, and how the warming climate erodes the riverbank. The children help free the tusk through trial and error, measure it, photograph it, and give it the Gwich'in name 'Trilzok', meaning gentle. The episode ends with a separate live-action segment where children visit a museum to learn whether dinosaurs once lived in Alaska.

The Qyah Ice Classic

In a small Alaskan village, Molly and her friends start their own Ice Classic, setting up a tripod on the frozen river and guessing when the spring ice will break and topple it. Each child uses a different method, looking up past dates, measuring the ice, watching for signs of spring, and building a model, while their friend Oscar helps everyone without entering himself. In the end Oscar wins by combining all the information his friends gathered, and they share the ice cream prize together. A closing live-action segment shows real children in Nenana explaining the real Ice Classic tradition.

Starry, Starry Night

Doc offers to fix her friend Henry's new telescope so he can watch a meteor shower, and inside her toy clinic it appears as Aurora, a toy telescope who cannot see clearly. Doc runs an eye exam, diagnoses 'blurry star-itis' and works out that an eyepiece is missing. The toys search the dark yard, find the missing piece, and fit it back so Aurora can see. Everyone returns in time to watch the meteor shower together through the repaired telescope.

Amazing Cave Animals

Host Jessi, a male co-host and Squeaks the robot rat get ready to visit their friend Sam the bat in his cave. Along the way they explain that a cave is a habitat, show real footage of an olm, a Mexican tetra and a cave spider, and point out that these animals have no eyes. They walk the viewer through why deep cave animals rely on smell and touch instead of sight, and invite the child to close their eyes and notice their own senses. The episode ends back in the studio as the hosts finish packing for the trip.

Paper Rocketship

Siblings Phoebe and Jay are set to watch a real rocket launch from their apartment building, but rain cancels it. Their neighbour Mr. Gurley shows them his record paper airplane that flew twenty feet, and teaches them to measure distance in feet. The children fold and launch their own paper rockets again and again, measuring each flight and adjusting the design. After several short attempts they finally fly one thirty-two feet, setting a new building record and earning a spot in the showcase.

The Rolie Polie

Sid wants to know how his tiny pet roly-polies move, so he brings them to school to investigate with his friends. Teacher Susie introduces the magnifying glass as a science tool, and the class uses it to look closely at skin, crayons, and the bugs themselves. Sid discovers that roly-polies walk on fourteen little legs and records his findings in a journal. He reports back to his dad during a backyard bug hunt and ends the day imagining a hat full of magnifying glasses.

Project Radish-A-Pult

In Doozer Creek, a gust of wind knocks a heavy branch onto the only bridge, blocking the delivery of radishes needed to keep building a wind turbine. The Pod Squad, Spike, Molly, Daisy Wheel and Flex, ask Professor Gimbal and Doozer Dad for advice and decide to build a machine that flings radishes across the ravine. Their first launch sends the radishes too far, so they set up a large pillow on the other side to catch them. With the radishes delivered, construction continues and the squad recaps how they solved it before the closing song.
