Stuck in the Rain

Stillwater explains that he treats the rain as a raincoat and tells the story of Odette, a gardener who removes the bees from her garden and then loses all her fruit. Michael takes the lesson to heart, realises rain helps things grow, and starts having fun racing leaf boats and jumping in puddles. The episode closes with the children playing happily in the rain.

Cake Bake

On the morning of Duck's birthday, Sarah decides to bake him a cake. After Duck picks an unusual 'bread cake' from the recipe book, Sarah gathers ingredients and starts mixing, only for batter to ruin the open recipe. The cake itself speaks up and dictates the remaining steps while a parcel arrives from Sarah's grandmother containing roller skates for Duck. Once baked, Sarah, Duck and the talking cake head to the park, where everyone sings a birthday song together.

Cheer Up Donkey

Sarah and Duck are looking after Donkey in the back garden while Scarf Lady is at the shops, and Donkey appears sad. Sarah tries a carrot, music on her tuber and a trip to the bread shop, but nothing changes his face. They visit the library, find a book about donkeys and learn that donkeys naturally look sad even when they are happy. After a walk in the park, Duck reveals he was upset because Sarah had buried his bread for him, and Scarf Lady returns to collect a contented Donkey.

Fig Flies a Kite

Fig, a young blue fox, finds a red kite among the curious objects in his boathouse and decides to make it fly. He carries it out to a sandy beach and an open grassy hilltop and tries different ways to get it airborne, gradually learning that he needs wind and movement to lift it. After several patient attempts he succeeds and watches the kite climb into the sky. Along the way he spends time with friends around the island.

Sad Baby

Star is leading a yoga session with her pups on the terrace when Baby announces that winter ruins everything and heads inside to hibernate. Star first moves the yoga mat indoors and then offers freshly baked biscuits, but neither lifts his mood. Slivington points out that Baby keeps shivering, so Star sews him a full winter outfit with earmuffs, boots and a padded coat. Warm at last, Baby heads out, sees the snow-covered rooftop and decides winter is not so bad, and the episode closes with all three doing the happy penguin pose in the snow.

Beat Of The Drumsticks

Fig, a small blue fox, discovers a pair of drumsticks at his home on a beached ship and sets out to find things to drum on. He travels through the garden and into the woods, tapping rocks, logs, pots and other objects to hear the different sounds they make. Magic Xylophone

Bluey and Bingo discover a toy xylophone that, in their imagination, freezes their dad Bandit whenever a certain note is struck. They use it to direct him around the house and yard, with the rules expanding as the game goes on. The episode closes back at home with the family game still in full swing.

Swing

Bing the rabbit arrives at the playground with his caretaker Flop and asks for a turn on the big swing. When his friend Pando the panda arrives and wants a turn too, Flop suggests they count to ten to share. Pando refuses to count when it is Bing's turn to wait, Bing gets frustrated and runs in front of the swing, and the swing hits him. Flop comforts Bing, checks every body part, explains that swings need time to stop, and Bing finishes the episode on a smaller swing while reflecting on what happened.

Glazed Frost

Two neighbor puppets wake up to a heavy overnight snowfall and decide together to clear it. They start with a quick snowball exchange, then improvise tennis-racket snowshoes, dig out a snowed-in door from both sides, build a small snow plough and sweep a path around the yard. After one neighbor is briefly buried in snow they shake him off and build a giant snowman together, before the sun melts everything by the end of the episode.

What Will Little Bear Wear?

Little Bear wants to play in the falling snow, but keeps coming back inside to tell Mother Bear he is cold. One by one she closes her eyes and makes him a hat, a coat and snow pants, and finally hands back his own fur. Outside he builds a snow bear all by himself, adding buttons, a hat and Father Bear's scarf. In the end he realises that playing has warmed him up and he is not cold at all.

Max's Rainy Day

Rabbit siblings Max and Ruby want to play in the rain, but Ruby insists they put on their rain clothes first. Across the episode they work through boots, a slicker, a rain hat and umbrellas, with Ruby helping Max when he puts his boots on the wrong feet and keeps trying to run outside. By the time they are fully dressed and step out, the rain has stopped, so they go back in to take everything off. As soon as they are undressed, the rain returns.

Tusk, Tusk, and More Tusk

Molly and her friends Tooey and Trini discover a large tusk buried in the mud near the river in their Alaska village. Grandpa Nat and an archaeologist named Olin Benedict identify it as a woolly mammoth tusk and explain the Ice Age, permafrost, and how the warming climate erodes the riverbank. The children help free the tusk through trial and error, measure it, photograph it, and give it the Gwich'in name 'Trilzok', meaning gentle. The episode ends with a separate live-action segment where children visit a museum to learn whether dinosaurs once lived in Alaska.
