Emily Elizabeth finds a baby bird that has fallen and decides to care for it until it can fly. Her big red dog Clifford feels left out as Emily spends her time feeding the bird and teaching it to flap its wings. With advice from his dog friends Cleo and T-Bone, Clifford tries to win back attention and then helps the bird take to the air. When the bird flies home with the others, Emily reassures Clifford that she will always love him.

Ridley Jones and her friends, Fred the bison, Ismat the mummy princess, Dante the dinosaur and Dudley the dodo, protect a natural history museum where the exhibits come alive at night. When a penguin from the cold exhibit ends up in the hot savanna and starts to overheat, the team sets out to cool it down and get it back to safety, reading clues in the Egyptian hall along the way. They cross the savanna together, comfort the weakening penguin and work as a group to solve the problem. The episode closes with the penguin cared for and the friends' mission complete.
