The Story of Joey the Kangaroo

Lucy is sent to bed but slips out to visit her animal neighbours, where Ribbit the Frog notices she is upset about being the worst at skipping in her class. To cheer her up, Ribbit tells the story of Joey, a young kangaroo in Australia who cannot jump and is teased by the other joeys. Ribbit lends Joey a pair of jumping boots so he can practise, and after training all night Joey enters the Junior Jump contest. When the boots are banned he finds he can jump without them, wins the contest, and the story sends Lucy happily off to bed.

C and K, two letter characters who both make the 'k' sound, fall out when C accuses K of copying the sound. To settle it they hold a contest, taking turns to build words, but they accidentally spell 'cage' and trap all the letters inside. Working together, they spell a way out and decide that two of the same are better than one.

Who's Heftier?

In the Smurf village, weak little Wimpy brags that he is stronger than Hefty, and the two face off in an obstacle-course contest. When Wimpy wins by luck and takes the title 'Heftier', Smurfette disguises herself as a fortune teller and invents a meteorite prophecy to help Hefty win a rematch. A real meteorite then falls, and Wimpy's warning saves the whole village. The Smurfs cheer him as the hero at the end.

Sharkbites and Pupcakes

Max and his dad set up a dog-treat stall at the Foggy Springs Food Fair and make a bet with rival seller Dennis over who can sell the most by noon. When the stowaway shark pups eat every treat, Shark Dog suggests they bake a fresh batch, but an extra-strong fishy smell sends the fair's dogs and the pups into a wild 'shark mode' that wrecks the stall. The town ends up charmed by the adorable pups, though Dennis technically sells one more treat and wins the count. Max accepts the loss, deciding they had the best time and that keeping the pups happy means having more fun with them.

Insectibles

Zak and his team of insect friends, the Insectibles, discover that a village's winter food has been stolen and that they are being blamed for it. They track down look-alike impostors, the Defraudables, who have been committing crimes in their name across the yard. After a chaotic face-off where the two groups argue over who is real, a termite elder announces a competition to settle the matter. The episode stops on a 'to be continued' card before the contest plays out.
