They gather ingredients and bake a batch, until Muggsy grabs salt instead of sugar and the cookies come out hard and inedible. With no time to start over, they tie ribbons and glitter on the ruined star-shaped cookies and turn them into tree ornaments. The hotel manager is pleased, Star gives Muggsy the credit, and every guest goes home with an ornament.

The two 'spies' turn out to be best men rehearsing a surprise song, and Jeremy reveals his blueprints were safely in the kitchen drawer. The ants then reveal the book actually says 'how to treat caterpillars' and that they only wanted to collect Chowser's sweat for an aromatherapy centre. The friends turn down the offer to stay and head home together.
