Not Feeling the Fireworks

Star hands out party hats at her pink hotel and announces that this New Year's Eve there will be fireworks on the rooftop terrace. Her pups back out once they hear about the loud bangs, so Star first tries getting them to face their fear by playing loud sounds in the park, which only upsets them. She then offers her own headphones, the pups test them by asking her to play something loud, and it works. Extra headphones are arranged for the other dogs, and the whole group watches the fireworks together and wishes each other a happy New Year.

What Would Freda Do?

Pinecone, who idolises her town's founder Frida the Fierce, is chosen to lead her friends in a group song for the festival honouring Frida. Believing a leader has to be 'fierce', she bosses everyone around until her friends leave to do their own presentations. In her attic she meets Frida's ghost, who reveals she never punched buildings into being but united the town by listening and combining everyone's ideas. Pinecone apologises, reunites the group, and they perform a song they wrote together about a place built on everyone's voice.

In the underground caves of Fraggle Rock, Gobo's Uncle Matt decides to leave and explore what the Fraggles call outer space, which is really the human world beyond a hole in Doc's workshop wall. Matt asks Gobo to collect the messages he will send back, but Gobo is frightened of the workshop's dog, whom the Fraggles treat as a beast. Gobo visits the all-knowing Trash Heap, who tells him that friends help, so his friends go into the workshop with him. With their support Gobo retrieves the first message and the Fraggles celebrate.

Little Shop of Reynolds

Twelve-year-old Sidney takes charge of her family's neighbourhood bike shop when her dad is knocked flat by the flu right before a make-or-break weekend sale. With Grandma, Olive and the mechanic Hunter, she sells bikes, mixes smoothies and, when things fall apart, assembles the bikes herself and wins over impatient customers with an honest plea to keep a family business alive. A parallel 1990s flashback follows her dad Max as a boy squabbling with his friend Leo over a new co-worker. By the end the store is saved and the sick family members recover.

Crushed Out

Dylan, a Dalmatian who loves space and dinosaurs, develops a crush on Portia, a dramatic goth poodle, and his friends convince him to hide his true self to win her over. He gets a makeover, fakes being cool and detached, and heads to a music gig, but the act spirals as Portia becomes clingy and even moves into his fridge. Realising the disguise has trapped him, Dylan reveals his real self, which finally cools her interest. The episode closes with Portia drifting off after Dylan mentions space one last time.

Nastya's Magical Day

Nastya and her friends and father move through a string of short live-action skits in a bright pink house and garden. They fall out over a perfume and make up, play with dolls, a VR headset, giant balloons and slime, act out Frozen and mermaid role-play, run a pretend toy market, and deal with a broken 'magic' bed. The final stretch is a trip through a colourful candy museum full of sweets and neon rooms. Each block ends and a new, unrelated one begins, closing on the children playing among the candy displays.
