Lyla, a girl who solves problems step by step with her blue companion Stu, joins a classroom project to build model spaceships with a partner. She teams up with Joey, a new boy, on a water-powered rocket, but Joey keeps going quiet and slipping away whenever the group gets big. Over two days Lyla realizes Joey feels shy in crowds, and she finds ways to include him one person at a time while they work out why their rocket won't fly. The episode ends at the park, where they seal a leak in the bottle and launch their spaceship together with the whole class.

Prince Too Charming

Crown Princess Elena travels to the neighbouring kingdom of Cordoba to choose a site for a new bridge alongside the boastful Prince Alonzo. When the workers dig up dirt mounds that turn out to be the homes of small owl-like buhitos, they awaken the Yakali, a giant wooden guardian who marches on the palace. Elena studies an old tapestry, realizes the giant is protecting the creatures, and builds new burrows to relocate them safely. The buhitos get a protected meadow, the Yakali departs in peace, and Alonzo is set to work helping build the bridge.

Pilroy

In a bright town where a giant girl named Goldie lives among smaller friends, Petey has a fight with his best friend Pilroy, who then runs away. Goldie, Teeny and Romeo spend the day searching shops and asking the mayor and townsfolk, following clues to an antique shop where a woman describes a nearly identical friend of her own. At a forest tea party the group discovers that Pilroy, and several other characters' oldest friends, are imaginary. Petey apologises, exchanges friendship bracelets with Pilroy, and Goldie learns that imaginary friends are whatever a person needs them to be.

Passion of Edward

Edward, a small green character in a pink cap, takes on a picnic bundle far bigger than he is and hauls it across town to the park. He pushes it past shop fronts, waits at a pedestrian crossing, gets knocked over near a passing car and struggles up a long flight of stone steps. He reaches Brown, Choco, Moon and Sally at the blanket just as a downpour hits and blows the food and umbrellas into the air. The sun returns with a rainbow, the friends gather round Edward and share what is left, and the episode closes on a wall of framed photos.

Manic Moon Day

Moon walks through town with his phone and starts snapping pictures of Sally whenever something goes wrong for her, laughing each time. Sally, furious, gathers materials at a workshop and takes a small doll from Moon's shelf, then sets off a chain of pranks that leave him tripped, splashed and covered in mud. He turns up at the café upset, where Brown and Choco listen to his story. The episode closes with the whole group in the café, Moon back on his chair with his phone and Sally beside him holding the doll.
