Noah reads a Spanish picture book to his pet mouse Coco, then realises the book is an overdue library loan and the library is about to close. He hails a taxi, but the Spanish-speaking driver mishears him and drops him at a ranch full of horses. Noah decides to ride a horse back into the city, learning to handle it along the way. He reaches the library just in time, returns the book, and picks up the Spanish word 'biblioteca'.

The Final Book

Kelsey, Craig, and JP set out to find the missing final book of the Dragonmancer series after it goes overdue at the library. Framed as a detective case from the 'Smarty Boys' mystery books, they interview kids who are role-playing as horses and ninjas, chase down a red turtle shell backpack, and hit several dead ends. Craig eventually deduces that Stacks, who writes book reports for other kids, hid the book. Stacks admits she was afraid of losing the only friend who talks with her about stories, and Kelsey forgives her and suggests they read a new series together.

Kiff, an energetic squirrel, loves reading out loud, but the library's strict shusher keeps quieting her down. After getting herself put in charge of the public library, Kiff declares it a 'loud library' where noise is allowed, and the librarian quits to go back to baking souffles. The free-for-all quickly turns into chaos that no one can control, and Kiff admits she has ruined the place she loves. She brings the librarian back to restore calm, and the two agree to share the space, a quiet area and a spot for loud readers.

Pinecone and her family settle in for a game night, but the board game Ultimate Ruler turns Mom into a fierce, taxing competitor the family jokingly calls a game monster. Pinecone and her dad launch a series of numbered plans, a fake ghost, invented rules and a staged illness, to make Mom lose interest, and none of them work. Pinecone finally joins the competition herself and then tells her mom plainly that a game is only good when it is fun for everyone. Mom apologizes, the family decides to get rid of the game, and they choose a different one to play together.

The Curse

Craig and his friends Kelsey and JP find their creek coloring stump ruined with candle wax and become convinced a pair of older girls posing as witches have cursed them. After a string of small mishaps seems to confirm the curse, the kids research witchcraft and confront the girls, only to learn they are ordinary teens playing fortune cards. Craig helps one girl escape her searching dad, and in return the 'witches' agree to lift the curse. The episode ends with the friends declaring themselves under the protection of the Witches of the Creek.

Squirrel Record

Sandy the squirrel finds an old book of world records and sets out to break every one of them, from the longest tongue to juggling chainsaws and eating raw chum. SpongeBob follows along as her photographer and helper, taking a battering through each increasingly reckless attempt. The two work through the whole book across Bikini Bottom, using robots, cousins and a giant rubber-band ball. At the end the book's author reveals it is thirty years out of date, so Sandy sets no records, while SpongeBob earns one for the most injuries sustained helping a friend.

Little Yellow Book

At the Krusty Krab, Squidward finds SpongeBob's little yellow diary and cannot resist picking the lock and reading it. He shares the private entries aloud, and the customers and town laugh at SpongeBob for details like his spatula named Fifi and his habit of clucking at plaid. Word spreads through Bikini Bottom, the crowd turns on Squidward, and he loses his home over it. SpongeBob forgives him, but the story ends with Squidward reading SpongeBob's secret personal diary as the humiliation begins again.
