Spot the Ladybird

On a spring day on Puffin Rock, young Una feels unwell and must stay home while her baby brother Baba goes ladybird spotting with friends Mossy and May. When they realise Una cannot join them, they decide to bring a ladybird to her instead, and Baba quietly gathers wildflowers so one will land on him. Papa keeps Una company at home with a story until she feels better. The episode ends with Baba proudly presenting Una a twenty-two-spotted ladybird he attracted with his flowers.

Comic Tragedy

Jay shows his grandmother the comic book he made about a hero named Captain Graviton, then sets off to make copies at the library. When the loose pages blow away, his sister Phoebe and a friend gather them up and use the page numbers to work out which pages are missing and what order they belong in. They keep searching until every page is found and read the finished story together. The episode ends with Jay's completed comic and a plan for the siblings to make a new one together.

A Special Seashell

On the Irish island of Puffin Rock, young puffin Una sets out to find shiny shells to cheer up her little brother Baba, who is home sick. With her friend Silky and help from Bernie the shell expert, she gathers shells, but a group of seagulls carries off her hidden collection. Back home, the one plain spiral shell she has left turns out to be special, letting Baba hear the ocean and finally fall asleep. The episode closes with a bedtime scene and family credits.

Square's Very Kind Gesture

Square finds a rare banana tree with two bananas and decides to give one to his friend Circle so he can be known for a kind gesture. Each time he tries, Circle passes the spare banana on to Triangle, and Square ends up with neither the fruit nor the praise he hoped for. He waits for the tree to grow again, rehearses his plan, and keeps trying. By the end he finally eats one banana at a picnic, still weighing whether to share the other.

The Seagulls

Twin siblings Stan and Olivia want to calm down with their favourite picture book, 'The Seagull with the Bugle', in their seaside playhouse. When Olivia invites a real seagull inside, more and more birds arrive and the noise makes reading impossible. After several failed attempts to send them away, the twins decide to work together and finally quiet the flock by reading the soothing story aloud. The episode ends with the birds calm and the game of chase from the opening picked up again.

Drawing Time

Jessica and her friends put on unicorn party hats to watch a movie, but the TV breaks and Dad cannot fix it right away. Left to entertain themselves, the children decide to draw their own story and imagine traveling through 'the lands of paper' to reach a unicorn dance party. Along the way they solve small problems with their drawn characters and help Felix, who thinks he is a bad artist, see the value of his own style. When Dad finally gets the TV working, the children choose to keep making up stories instead.

Muffin Party

Moose decides to throw a muffin party, but after the muffins are eaten and his recipe card gets soaked, one ingredient becomes impossible to read. With help from Mouse, Cat and Piper, who spots a buttery hoofprint clue, and plenty of encouragement, Moose bakes the muffins anyway and improvises the final ingredient himself. His guests love the 'freewheeling muffins', and Moose is proud he pulled it off. The episode closes with the series refrain asking what happens next.

Caillou's Not Afraid Anymore

Grandma reads the children a story about a time when 3-year-old Caillou was afraid of his neighbor Mr. Hinkle, who looked spooky from a distance. After running away from him outside, Caillou hides at home when Mr. Hinkle comes over to apologise. Mr. Hinkle turns the moment into a game of hide and seek, and by the time he finds Caillou, the two are laughing together and become friends.

Lonesome Lucas

Lucas the spider wakes in the middle of the night after a costume party and finds that all his friends are fast asleep. He wanders the darkened family home, tries to play, sings himself a lullaby, and grows lonely as he wonders if he is the only one awake. His friend Dimple keeps him company and tells him a story about a brave little spider, which finally helps him drift off. As the sun rises the household begins to stir and Lucas is at last peacefully asleep.

At Gigi's grooming palace, a group of puppies get their fur trimmed before heading out to play fetch with the Red Zoomer ball. One puppy, Dil, is too excited to hold still, so his fur keeps covering his eyes and he cannot be groomed or see. His friends invent stay-still games, a balance game, Pippa Says, drawing, and pretending to be a statue, to help him calm down. Once Dil holds still, Gigi finishes the trim, he can see again, and everyone goes to the park to play.

The Secret Code

Paprika and her friends invent a secret code so they can get into their playhouse, but one friend forgets it and refuses every offer to be told, set on remembering it herself. While she keeps guessing, she misses out on painting, a ball game and a puppet show happening inside. In the end she asks for help, only to find that no one else remembers the code either. The group lets the mix-up go and moves on together to a show about finding Moo Moo.
