Together they write a booklet about Ellen and two other women pilots and leave it at the library so others can learn about them.

Tune-Up Trouble

On a sunny farm, a small blue truck named Otis spends tune-up day getting his tires filled and gears tightened along with his vehicle friends. His friend Kevin, a large truck, is too scared to take his first tune-up and keeps putting it off until his engine gives out. Otis stays with Kevin, helps load grain, winches him to the farmhouse when he breaks down, and offers to take his own turn first so Kevin can see what it is like. Kevin finally gets his tune-up from Farmer Naomi and rolls off proud of how he feels.

The Magnetic Crane

A load of metal beams spills across the highway in Car City and traffic comes to a complete standstill. Ethan and the other trucks call in Carl the Super Truck, who returns to his base and is fitted with a magnetic crane arm. Back at the highway he sweeps the magnet over the road, accidentally lifting Deen along with the metal before switching it off and trying again more carefully. The collected metal goes into Ethan's dump bed and the cars start moving again.

The Pickup Truck

Pikkel, a pink pickup truck, has had an accident on a city street and cannot get home. Tom the tow truck arrives and tries to pull her, but her heavy load makes it impossible, so he fetches Carl, who rebuilds himself into a large crane truck. Carl lifts Pikkel onto his flatbed and drives her across town, with careful lifting and lowering at both ends. Everyone thanks each other and Pikkel is set down safely outside her house.

The Steamroller

In Car City, Billy the bulldozer and Steve the steamroller are fixing a street full of potholes. Billy fills the holes with gravel, but Steve's roller breaks down and runs out of steam, so Tom the tow truck takes him to the garage. Carl the Super Truck is called in, transforms into a steamroller and flattens the rest of the road. Steve returns repaired, the finished street is admired, and the vehicles thank each other before parting.

The Super Mail Truck

Peter the Mail Van gets a flat tyre in Car City and cannot finish delivering the post. Carl is called in, drives to his base and rebuilds himself into a mail truck with a launcher on his roof. He fits Peter with a new tyre, then takes half the route himself, sending letters and parcels to houses, a farm and a row of shops. One parcel is left over with no address, and it turns out to be the new hat Carl had been waiting for at the start.

The Cement Truck

In Car City, garbage truck Gerrit accidentally drives into a lamp post and knocks it over. Tom tows the damaged Gerrit to the garage while crane Charlie prepares to lift the pole back up, but the cement mixer Christopher is away on holiday. Super Truck flies to his cave, transforms into a cement mixer and returns to pour cement around the base of the pole. Charlie holds it upright until the cement is in place, and the episode ends with the lamp post standing again and the cement left to dry.

Gecko, a frog mechanic, runs a garage with a crew of small flying robot machines he calls by colour. Across seven separate stories he washes a muddy baby truck, tracks a mysterious noise in a Halloween-decorated garage, patches an oil leak in Bobby the bus, unsticks vehicles from deep snow while fetching a Christmas tree, repairs Vicky's ice cream van, catches a helper falling from a fire engine ladder and chases a runaway caravan at a campsite. Each story opens with Gecko greeting the viewer, works through the fault step by step, and closes with the customer repaired and a wave goodbye. The final segment ends with the group settling by the campfire for a story.

The Garbage Truck (Part 2)

Gary the green garbage truck gets a flat tyre in the middle of Car City just as his collection round is due, so Carl is brought in to take his place for the day. In a workshop, Carl is rebuilt into a garbage truck, with the hopper, the rear section and the container lifting system attached one by one. He then drives the streets, clamping and tipping each bin until the last one is empty. Gary thanks him for saving his day and the two say goodbye until next time.

Jessica's Picnic

Jessica and her mother set out for a fancy 'big kid picnic' with homemade strawberry cupcakes while Dad and brother Bernard head to the museum. Rain, a broken-down van and a long wait at the mechanic wreck the plan one step at a time, and Jessica grows more and more disappointed. Her mother stays warm and reassuring, reminding her that a bad day still counts when they are together. Back home they hold a living room picnic and Jessica ends the day close to her family.

Most trouble arrives by accident and is fixed with a tool and a plan within a couple of minutes. Each story closes with everyone safe and an invitation to come back to the garage.

The Incredible Truck

In Car City, Katie and Jerry set off for a race at the track but find the highway bridge broken and impassable. Katie phones Carl, who drives to a hidden garage and is rebuilt into a masked super truck with speed and a repair beam. He first lies across the gap so the two cars can drive over him, then locates the missing bridge sections and welds them back into place. The cars thank him for the finished bridge and the episode closes with a joke about him having competition.
