The Jökulhlaup Is on Us

Molly, an Alaska Native girl, learns that a glacial flood called a jokulhlaup could wash away Auntie Cecilia's old fishing cabin by Lake Kaya. Using Nina's 3D topographical map, Molly and her friends find higher ground out of the flood zone, then work out how to slide the cabin there on a bed of logs. The cabin is moved safely and Molly discovers the family doll she lost as a baby. The episode ends with the family settling the cabin into its new home.

Downward Dog

Michael spends the weekend pet-sitting the neighbour's dog, Yuko, with big plans to become her best friend. When Yuko prefers playing with his younger brother Carl, Michael feels left out, until the panda neighbour Stillwater shares a story about Dario, a mouse who learns the joy of giving. Michael realises that keeping Yuko safe and happy, and sharing the fun with Carl, is what good pet-sitting is about. The episode closes with the whole group heading out for a walk together.

In the Dark of Day

Molly, Trini and Oscar walk home from school in an Alaska village where the winter sun sets in the early afternoon, and Oscar is sure a monster is waiting in the dark. The friends look up sunset times on a weather website, learn about the winter solstice, and try several plans to face the creature. Auntie Midge tells a story about a wolf pup who overcomes its fear of the dark by finding a pack. Emboldened by his friends, Oscar finally confronts the monster and finds it is just a large pile of snow.

Stranger Fins

A group of children and their pet Sharkdog arrive by boat at a remote, storm-ringed island hoping to find more shark dogs. When they get separated, Max admits he is afraid that meeting new shark dogs would cost him his best friend, and Ollie and Royce reassure him that their bond only grew stronger. The 'fin prints' they track turn out to be their own, and no new shark dogs are found. As dusk falls, Barb the captain gathers everyone back to the boat, and Max and Sharkdog reaffirm they will always be best friends.

Passion of Edward

Edward, a small green character in a pink cap, takes on a picnic bundle far bigger than he is and hauls it across town to the park. He pushes it past shop fronts, waits at a pedestrian crossing, gets knocked over near a passing car and struggles up a long flight of stone steps. He reaches Brown, Choco, Moon and Sally at the blanket just as a downpour hits and blows the food and umbrellas into the air. The sun returns with a rainbow, the friends gather round Edward and share what is left, and the episode closes on a wall of framed photos.

Cony the Babysitter

Cony rides the city bus home with a small robot pet that has a glowing screen for a face. Back in her apartment the robot keeps darting off, and Cony chases it around the sofa and across the rug until she is worn out and finally sits still long enough for it to settle beside her. Afterwards she meets Brown at the neighbourhood café and tells him about her afternoon, leaning against him until she cheers up. The episode closes at Brown's door, where a robot pet wrapped with a yellow ribbon is handed over, and then on a night view of a lit apartment window.

DIY Luck

Keroppi wakes up convinced he is having a bad-luck day and runs into a string of small disappointments, from the wrong ice cream flavor to a friend's broken truck. Hello Kitty gives him a four-leaf clover, and a wave of kind gestures from My Melody and Kuromi follows. When the clover breaks and the bad luck returns, Hello Kitty explains that his attitude, not the clover, was the real difference. The episode closes with Keroppi planting his own clovers and a direct on-screen invitation to subscribe to the channel.

Close Encounters of the First Kind

A small spaceship lands near a town and a green visitor steps out to explore. It copies a flower and a row of mailboxes, then takes on Cony's appearance and wanders into the café where Brown is working, which leaves Brown staring at two identical Conys. Brown and Cony end the episode outside the café sharing a drink.

James the Party Animal

James counts down the days to his birthday on a wall calendar while posting selfies and telling everyone he meets around town. When the day arrives, his friends seem to be busy elsewhere, and he ends up walking the empty streets and then sitting alone in the café with a cupcake and one candle. Brown, Cony, Choco, Moon and Sally have been preparing behind his back, and they appear with a cake and sparklers. The episode closes with the whole group around a table in the lit café at night.

Freeze Frame

Brown works behind the counter of the café he shares with his friends while Boss experiments with a glowing liquid in a back room full of flasks and tubing. Sally the duck gets hold of the small glass vial, and a shower of golden sparkles ends up clinging to Brown's fur. He tries to wipe it off, heads out through the town and eventually lands in the river, meeting Cony along the way. The episode closes back at the café, with the sparkles gone and Sally sitting alone in an armchair by the window.

Little Bouquet of Horrors

Brown finds a small white flower growing beside a path, digs it up and carries it across town to Cony as a present. Once inside her home the plant starts moving on its own, grows long vines and a snapping mouth, and chases both friends through the living room, knocking over furniture and grabbing them. Brown eventually gets the plant under control and it settles into an ordinary blooming flower. The episode ends with Cony and Brown sitting on the couch with bowls of popcorn, the flower quietly beside them.

Spicy Noodles

Brown and Cony walk through their town and past the pond, and Cony gets an idea for a bowl of spicy noodles. At the noodle shop the friends, including Moon, Sally, Jessica and a panda diner, work through bowl after bowl of fiery red noodles while the cook makes each round hotter. Brown eats his portion without a flicker until the heat finally escapes in one enormous burst of fire that cracks the pavement outside. The episode ends with Cony and Brown standing on the broken street, talking it over before heading off again.
