Chip the pug puppy spends the day trying to apologize to her best friend Nico after getting him into trouble at school, but Nico is busy with his visiting daddy. With help from her brother Spud and his friend Paco's walkie-talkies, Chip finally voices her apology, and Nico forgives her and explains he was simply spending time with his dad. The two confirm they are still best friends, and the episode ends with Grandma and Gordy arriving with pumpkin tacos and news of a new taco restaurant in the neighborhood.
