To make the wait fun, Donkey Hodie invents a game called Acorn Ball, tossing acorns into a bucket, and the friends keep adding new rules like an excited dance, a Stinky Cheese Rock sniff, and a yodel. By the time the new game is finally ready, everyone is enjoying Acorn Ball so much that Game Show Gator joins in too.

Donkey Hodie is babysitting a baby yodel bird in the puppet world of Someplace Else. When it is time for the baby's nap, he refuses to settle, so Donkey Hodie and her friends Purple Panda and Duck Duck each try the tricks that helped them sleep as little ones: quiet peekaboo, a slow nap dance and a nap book. Nothing works until they decide to think about what the baby himself needs, soothing him with rocking, a gentle breeze and a yodel lullaby. The baby finally falls asleep, and the tired friends admit they feel like napping too.

The Sheep Who Couldn't Sleep

On a farm at night, Otis the tractor says goodnight to all the animals, then notices that Louie the sheep still cannot sleep. Otis tries counting sheep, which accidentally wakes the whole farm, then a lullaby, and finally works out that the bright full moon is the problem. He blocks the moonlight and adjusts it so it is not too dark, and Louie drifts off at last. Otis then heads to bed himself as the farm rests.

The Royal Sandcastle Builders

At a sunny beach, King Friday sets out to build a royal sandcastle but keeps getting frustrated when it does not work. Donkey Hodie and Purple Panda join him as the Royal Sandcastle Builders and discover that each of them calms down a different way, by running in small circles, by playing the bongos, or by doing a slow stretch. Once they have managed their frustration, they work out that adding water makes the sand hold together. They finish a castle that looks just like King Friday's real one.

Jack's Hello Kindness Day

Jack, the host of a colorful town called Clover Grove, finds a wind chime left on his porch and sets out to discover who gave it to him. He visits neighbors including Delivery Dolores, Mr. Green, Bebe, Stephanie and Pablo, helping out along the way, while more kind surprises keep appearing around town. Following the clues home, Jack learns that the children arranged everything as a kindness party for him. The episode ends with songs about kindness and a warm goodbye to the viewer.

The Potato Stand

They try a potato call, a song and a disco dance, but every neighbour already has potatoes and complains about the long job of washing, drying and sorting them. The friends change their plan and use Grampy's potato washer-dryer-sorter-dumper machine to do that chore for everyone instead. The neighbours are grateful, and Donkey ends the day feeling potato proud, just like Grampy.

Rainy Days

On a spring day in the meadow, Little Nutbrown Hare and his friends are enjoying the colours and sunshine when rain arrives and interrupts their play. With help from his father, the group searches for fun and ends up digging holes that fill into ponds, adding ducks and trees, and holding a duck race with lily-petal boats. The rain stops and they return to their colour-naming game. The episode ends at home, where father and son go to bed and share how much they love each other.

Jack's Surprise for Mr. Prickles

In the town of Clover Grove, cheerful host Jack learns that his new neighbor Mr. Prickles is homesick and misses the garden at his old home. Jack teams up with his friend Bibi, Chef and a young helper named Hugo to secretly plant a new garden full of tomatoes, cucumbers and zucchini, plus a painted rock gnome named Terry. Songs about kindness thread through the gardening, all set in a bright cafe and backyard. At the reveal Mr. Prickles is delighted and says his house finally feels like a home.

Rusty's Chance to Dance

Two tractors, helpful young Otis and older, stiffer Rusty, decide to hold a harvest moon dance on their farm. They clear a cluttered hayfield, and when the radio breaks they gather friends to make instruments from a bucket, a jug and a washboard. Rusty grows sad when he is too creaky for his old jump-and-spin dance, so Otis helps him invent a slower wiggle dance called 'The Rusty.' The episode ends with the whole farm dancing together.

Games with Potato

They try tag and then hide and seek, but Potato never chases or hides, so they decide he must be tired. Cousin Hodie's Rainy Day

When the rain keeps them from seeing the real rainbow, the friends make their own friend rainbow out of friends in every color. The rain finally stops, the rainbow tree bursts into color, and the cousins celebrate their day together.

On a sweltering day in the puppet town of Someplace Else, Donkey Hodie decides to cool everyone down by opening a lemonade stand with her friend Duck Duck. Duck Duck wants to follow a careful step-by-step plan, but Donkey rushes ahead her own way, grabs an enormous lemon, and ends up with no lemonade and a wrecked stand. Duck Duck is hurt that Donkey did not listen, so Donkey finds her, apologizes, and admits the plan would have worked. Together they follow the plan, make the lemonade, and cool down the whole town.
