Carl, a young raccoon who loves collecting things, stars in two stories. In the first, his grandfather Pop Pop knits him a sweater that turns out too itchy to wear, and after his blunt comments upset his friends, Carl learns that honesty works best when it is also kind. In the second, Carl's bus stop is moved a few blocks away, so with his friends he makes a map, marks landmarks and practices the walk until he can reach the new stop alone. Both stories end with Carl succeeding, keeping the sweater for his teddy bear and managing the new route on his own.

Howie Has Heart

Chip the pug puppy brings her papa, a Happyton police officer, to school for a class talk about police tools. During the visit her secret snuggly Potato goes missing, and Chip suspects her classmate Howie took it. Using paw prints, a trail and the school's new security camera, she discovers Potato was accidentally shut in the piano room and that Howie was not to blame. Chip returns Howie's own lost snuggly, apologises for the accusation, and the friends make up.

The Brave Truth

In a sunny park, Vivi accidentally breaks a remote-control plane that her friend Mel built with her mom, after being told not to touch the remote. Afraid of Mel's reaction, Vivi hides the truth while Barney gently encourages her to be brave, and the friends act out a make-believe dragon quest where honesty finally wins the day. Vivi then confesses to Mel, who forgives her, and the two agree to fix the plane together with glue. The episode closes with a song about how telling the truth, though hard, can be the kindest thing.

Chip and Nico's Fun Day

Chip the pug spends a special Fun Day at her Happy Hoppers preschool, where the class bounces on trampolines under three safety rules. Nico blames Chip and the friends fall out, leaving Chip guilty and unsure if they are still best friends. She goes home, talks it over with her mama, and brings Nico a 'sorry' cake, but he is already asleep, so she resolves to make up with him the next day.

She practices one note at a time and plays her first full song.

Nebulator

At a one-day space fair in a world of dinosaurs, young Tim keeps inventing reasons, ice cream, a gentle carousel, winning toys, to avoid the towering Nebulator ride. His friend Kai eventually notices something is wrong, and Tim admits he is scared of how high it is. Kai confesses he is a little scared too and suggests they ride it together. They board the Nebulator side by side, and Tim's fear turns to joy, even coaxing his reluctant dad along for a final ride.

Dog for a Day

In the town of Petsburg, the Pupstruction dog crew is asked by Mayor Gilmore to build a water park for the local children. Bobby, a cat who runs a rival building team, disguises himself as a dog named Doggo McWoof-Woof, sneaks into their headquarters, and steals the plans. His own team cannot finish the build, because, as the pups explain, good plans are useless without a real team. Bobby is found out, apologises, and Pupstruction works together to fix and complete the water park.

Moon Cow

Tim Rex and his brother Tommy find a lost Moon Cow toy and turn into Lost Toy Detectives to track down its owner. Following clues from an ice cream shop to the park, they reach Iggy's apartment and learn the toy belongs to Poppy. Little sister Tia does not want to give it up and runs off with it, but she comes back and hands it over so Poppy is happy again. The episode closes with the children spotting another lost toy and setting off on a new case.

Tough Break

Moon Parrot

Realising how much work a pet is, the friends conclude they are not ready for one just yet.

He and his crew try several ways to make him bigger, including pumping up his tires, building a moving hill, shiny paint, and clown stilts, before Chuck saves his friend Bigs from a tight spot only a small truck can reach. In the second half he accidentally breaks his mother's new winch, tries to replace it with a fake one built from parts-yard scraps, and finally tells her the truth. His mother forgives him and asks him to help with another repair.

After crashing the rocket, he admits he only faked it because he wanted Kai to like him as much as Vinny. Kai tells him he just needs to be himself, and the three end up happily playing pretend together.
