On the first day of spring, Llama Llama promises to help both Nelly with her play date and Luna with her picnic on the same day. He runs back and forth across the neighbourhood carrying sacks, kickballs, balloons and tablecloths until he is worn out. Mama and his friends point out that he took on too much at once. Llama Llama then has the idea to combine both events into one shared picnic play date, and everyone celebrates spring together.

Bedtime Blues

Balanced
recommended age Unlock co-watching from 2

Pete the Cat and his friends are jamming on their instruments when dinner ends playtime, so the grown-ups arrange a sleepover to keep the fun going. Once the lights go out, nobody can fall asleep, and the friends work through a pillow fight, hide and seek and a song that keeps insisting it is not a lullaby. Pete's mom finally suggests they make up their own story about a king who cannot sleep, with each child adding a chapter, and one by one they drift off. The next morning everyone wakes up for pancakes and a new song.

The Sleepover

Balanced
recommended age Unlock co-watching from 2

Cousin Muffin arrives for a sleepover overtired after skipping her afternoon nap, just as Bluey and Bingo have been promised they can stay up late. The girls invent a string of pretend games, a restaurant, a chip shop and a police chase, partly to stretch the evening out, while Mum balances her promise against Muffin's need for sleep. Muffin grows sillier and droopier until the girls are finally sent to bed at eight o'clock. The next morning a tired Bluey wakes to find a pretend flamingo tucked into Muffin's sleeping bag.

They teach him tag and even borrow rocket skates, but the speedy cheetah is impossible to catch. When the koala manager reminds them that all babies tire eventually, they sing him a lullaby over the announcement microphone until he drifts off. Chase is then delivered, well rested, to his cheetah family in the savanna.

In a bright underwater home, Baby Shark and family sing their way through a bedtime routine. One by one they say good night to the moon, the stars, the corals and fish, then to cars, trains, pets, and each family member from Mommy and Daddy to Grandma and Grandpa. A repeated refrain marks that night is coming and it is time for bed. The song closes on the moon settling in a starry sky as everyone drifts to sleep.

The night ends with the characters heading home in the car, yawning.
