Horsey Ride

Bluey plays with her toy pony when her cousins Muffin and Socks arrive for a family visit with their parents. All four puppies want the pony at the same time, which sparks a series of small disputes and tearful moments. Through trial and error the children invent new games, a horsey ride, a dress-up salon and a pretend pampering parlour, so several of them can take part at once. By the end the cousins leave happily and Bluey hands the pony over for a final goodbye.

Brother Bear is hitting well in a sandlot game when Papa suggests he try out for the Bear Country Cardinals, and Sister Bear decides to try out too. Brother grows jealous and afraid of losing his spot to his sister, so he fakes a sore arm to skip the tryouts. Sister catches the lie and encourages him, and the two practice together before the tryouts. In the end the coach is impressed by both and adds a second spot, so Brother and Sister both make the team.

Count Their Blessings

Sister and Brother Bear come home from friends' houses wishing they had as many dolls and video games as Lizzie and Cousin Fred. When a thunderstorm knocks out the power, the family gathers by the fire with cocoa while Mama and Papa help the cubs name the things they are thankful for, from a safe house to a loving family. Papa also shows them how to tell how far away the storm is by counting between lightning and thunder. At bedtime Sister happily counts her blessings, and the parents catch themselves wishing for new furniture before deciding to do the same.

In a supermarket, Bandit and his daughters play a pretend game where he is a mum named Mrs Healer shopping with her children, cheeky toddler Snowdrop and naughty older brother Diddums. The make-believe mum keeps taking the toddler's side and even calls Snowdrop her favourite, leaving Diddums feeling unfairly blamed. When she catches Snowdrop being the real troublemaker, she apologises and the two make up. The game ends warmly at the checkout with a friendly exchange and a nursery rhyme.

Bear's Red Shoes

In the storybook forest, Bear worries he cannot dance in time for the Forest Wingding party, so Goldie takes him to the Magic Cobbler for a pair of magic dancing shoes. Big Bad Wolf, wanting to look like the best dancer, secretly swaps the shoes for ordinary ones. At the party Bear dances beautifully anyway and learns the shoes were never the reason: all his practice taught him to dance. Big Bad admits the truth, and Bear kindly offers him shoes so he can learn too.

Frookie Sitting

True and her cat friend Bartleby agree to look after the Rainbow Castle while the Rainbow King attends a council, and Griselda leaves her puppy Frookie with them too. When Frookie touches the king's rare flower, the pollen turns him into five identical puppies who scatter through the castle. True visits the wishing tree for three wishes and uses them to gather the puppies with crackers, shrink a giant Frookie back down, and float up to the plant, while also settling Bartleby's worry that she has replaced him. The king returns, forgives the damage, and the fallen petals turn out to make his flower bloom early.

Moon Jump

In the fairy tale forest, a yearly drawing decides who gets to ride the cow that jumps over the moon, and Goldie is picked instead of her best friend Bear, who had his heart set on it. Bear hides his disappointment, and with his mama's help tries to be happy for her, while Goldie realises how much the moon means to him and attempts to give up her seat. The rules forbid trading places, but when the cow suddenly bolts, both friends end up clinging to its back. They sail over the moon together, agreeing it is better because they do it as a pair.

News reporter Ted Lister spends a week filming Big Tree City Rescue, and the flashier rescuers get all the camera time while Kit the medic is edited out. Determined to prove he is worth watching, Kit takes over a call-out about a stuck ball and then sets Ted's cart rolling downhill to create a rescue worth broadcasting. When the cart heads for the river and a busy roundabout, Kit admits he cannot handle it and calls Becky, Flame and Splash, who catch Ted in mid-air. Kit treats Ted's injuries as the medic, apologises, and Ted signs off saying it made great television.

The General

Pound Puppies follows a secret team of shelter dogs at Shelter 17 who quietly find homes for strays without the humans noticing. In this episode a legendary rescuer known as the General turns out to be Dolly, a Southern poodle who arrives with sixty-seven puppies that all need homes. The dogs stage an adoption fair and run a hidden assembly line to adopt and swap the same puppies, while Cookie, the team's tough female dog, wrestles with being seen as 'one of the guys' and her feelings for leader Lucky. By the end every puppy is homed, the workers' jobs are saved when the governor adopts the last pup, and Cookie and Dolly each make peace with being themselves.

A Newt to Remember

Fuse smartens up in his car and drives to collect Newt for an evening out, leaving Slick standing in the road with his keys. Slick chases them through the neighbourhood, to a drive-in cinema showing a black-and-white wolf film, and on to a roadside burger stand. Out in the forest under the full moon, Newt grows fangs, pointed ears and claws, and Slick, after fleeing and then photographing her, comes back and stays. The night ends with the characters heading home in the car, yawning.

Pain in the Arts

In an art class, Jeff knocks over a pot of blue paint and the splattered canvas is hailed as a masterpiece, launching him into billboards, trophies and a television interview. Zee, watching from the sidelines, buys fresh paints and a beret and works late to produce a carefully painted apple, but at the outdoor exhibition nobody stops to look and Pogo eats it. Furious, Zee drives his car straight through the display, flattening every easel and canvas into a smoking heap. The crowd declares the wreckage brilliant, and the other Oddbods immediately grab blank canvases to copy the new style.

Zee is sitting in his junk filled yard when black oil suddenly bursts out of the ground and makes him instantly rich. He buys out a hot dog truck, a mansion, a sports car and a couch that flies, wears a crown and gold sunglasses, and throws a party while Pogo, Slick and the other Oddbods try to get close to the money. The oil well blows up in a huge black cloud and everything he bought is hauled away again. Zee ends up back on his old brown couch with a few loose banknotes around him and his friends gathered beside him.
