In the end Carl accepts a bigger hand-me-down shirt from his brother Michael and joins Stillwater for one last Tai Chi move.

Dora, Kate and Pablo are handing out donated toys at the Children's Hospital when they meet Miguel, who has lost his stuffed monkey Mono. After helping him calm down enough to remember that Mono fell out of his bag on the train, they follow the trail to the station, meet a room full of forgotten toys in the lost and found, and repair an old locomotive that carries them to the train yard. There they identify the right carriage just as a cleaning robot starts sealing it, and Pablo's soccer kick opens the door in time. Mono goes back to Miguel, and the leftover toys from the lost and found find homes with the other children.

Her five friends, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy, each give reasons and start doing favors to win the spare ticket, which leaves Twilight feeling pressured and unable to choose. Cony rides the city bus home with a small robot pet that has a glowing screen for a face. Back in her apartment the robot keeps darting off, and Cony chases it around the sofa and across the rug until she is worn out and finally sits still long enough for it to settle beside her. Afterwards she meets Brown at the neighbourhood café and tells him about her afternoon, leaning against him until she cheers up. The episode closes at Brown's door, where a robot pet wrapped with a yellow ribbon is handed over, and then on a night view of a lit apartment window.

Brown finds a small white flower growing beside a path, digs it up and carries it across town to Cony as a present. Once inside her home the plant starts moving on its own, grows long vines and a snapping mouth, and chases both friends through the living room, knocking over furniture and grabbing them. Brown eventually gets the plant under control and it settles into an ordinary blooming flower. The episode ends with Cony and Brown sitting on the couch with bowls of popcorn, the flower quietly beside them.
