Star first moves the yoga mat indoors and then offers freshly baked biscuits, but neither lifts his mood. Slivington points out that Baby keeps shivering, so Star sews him a full winter outfit with earmuffs, boots and a padded coat. Warm at last, Baby heads out, sees the snow-covered rooftop and decides winter is not so bad, and the episode closes with all three doing the happy penguin pose in the snow.

They gather ingredients and bake a batch, until Muggsy grabs salt instead of sugar and the cookies come out hard and inedible. With no time to start over, they tie ribbons and glitter on the ruined star-shaped cookies and turn them into tree ornaments. The hotel manager is pleased, Star gives Muggsy the credit, and every guest goes home with an ornament.

During a Harvest Festival dinner in the town of Sturdy Stone, Pinecone questions why everyone hides indoors from a Harvest Spirit no one has ever seen. She, her unicorn Pony and their friend Hawthorn set out on a nighttime quest, following an eerie moaning sound through the streets and into the swamp. They discover the sound comes from jilly-toads driven out of their flooded home by the town's heavy festival float. The town moves the float, frees the toads and celebrates together, agreeing to keep the tradition without harming the swamp.

When Granny is exposed as the shapeshifting witch Magpie, whose belts were fake magic, Pinecone leads the group to confront her. Using their homemade belt gadgets they defeat Magpie, recover everyone's items, and the handmade belts become the new trend.

When Carter uses a giant cardboard robot to crush the rival city, Craig realises building means nothing without his friends. The three reunite, stop the robot, and Carter storms off vowing to return.
