Popcorn Picture Show

Fig, a young fox, finds a long loopy tube and joins his friend Maple and his companion Stick to gather popcorn for the evening picture show. At Popcorn Canyon the sun pops the kernels, but the light popcorn floats away whenever Fig tries to toss it down to the bowls below. After watching a mother cuckoo carry popcorn through the tree to feed her chicks, Fig realises he can use his tube to send the popcorn straight into the bowls. With the bowls full, everyone heads home for the firefly-lit picture show.

Spot the Ladybird

On a spring day on Puffin Rock, young Una feels unwell and must stay home while her baby brother Baba goes ladybird spotting with friends Mossy and May. When they realise Una cannot join them, they decide to bring a ladybird to her instead, and Baba quietly gathers wildflowers so one will land on him. Papa keeps Una company at home with a story until she feels better. The episode ends with Baba proudly presenting Una a twenty-two-spotted ladybird he attracted with his flowers.

Downward Dog

Michael spends the weekend pet-sitting the neighbour's dog, Yuko, with big plans to become her best friend. When Yuko prefers playing with his younger brother Carl, Michael feels left out, until the panda neighbour Stillwater shares a story about Dario, a mouse who learns the joy of giving. Michael realises that keeping Yuko safe and happy, and sharing the fun with Carl, is what good pet-sitting is about. The episode closes with the whole group heading out for a walk together.

What Will Little Bear Wear?

Little Bear wants to play in the falling snow, but keeps coming back inside to tell Mother Bear he is cold. One by one she closes her eyes and makes him a hat, a coat and snow pants, and finally hands back his own fur. Outside he builds a snow bear all by himself, adding buttons, a hat and Father Bear's scarf. In the end he realises that playing has warmed him up and he is not cold at all.

The Salmon Leap

On the island of Puffin Rock, young puffin Oona and her friend Adam invite the owl Otto to the waterfall to watch salmon leap upstream at sunrise. First the little owlets Pip and Pop, and Oona's baby brother Baba, must be settled to sleep, so the friends try soft bedding, a game and counting sheep without success. They finally realise the owlets stayed awake because no one said goodnight, and once tucked in the babies drift off. The friends rush to the waterfall and just catch the salmon leaping before the sun climbs too high.

Nancy's Devine Sleepover

Nancy takes her little sister JoJo for a sleepover at the fancy Mrs. Devine's house and packs a survival kit to help JoJo feel brave. Once the lights go out, it is Nancy herself who cannot sleep because she misses her parents. With Mrs. Devine's kindness and a phone call home, Nancy learns that feeling homesick in a new place is normal. She decides to stay and the sleepover ends happily.

Hide and Seek

Bing, a young rabbit, plays hide and seek at the crèche with his friends Sula, Pando and Coco, looked after by the carer Emma. When the others stop for the toilet routine, Bing decides to hold his pee so he can keep playing and be the one who is 'it.' He holds it through the game but wets his dungarees just afterwards. Emma reassures him, helps him clean up, Sula finds dry pants in the lost basket, and Bing reflects that next time he will go before playing or stop the game to use the toilet.

Spike the Hedgehog

Jessica agrees to look after Spike the hedgehog while her friend Stanley and Lulu fly to the Philippines to visit family. With help from her mom and Small Uncle, she learns to feed him, clean his cage, and handle him gently, discovering that banana slices coax the shy pet out. When Spike escapes and hides under the bed, Jessica recalls Stanley's advice and lures him back safely. Stanley returns to a happy, settled hedgehog and thanks Jessica for the great job.

Babasitting

On a spring day on Puffin Rock, little puffling Baba discovers a hibernating hedgehog and decides to stay beside it until it wakes. His older sister Una and their rabbit friend May take turns checking on him while exploring worms, frogspawn and new flowers around the island. May offers to babysit so Una can play, and everyone slowly understands that Baba wants the hedgehog to enjoy spring with them. By evening the hedgehog stirs and the family gathers to enjoy the season together.

Forgotten Fuzzy

Little Llama packs a big bag and goes for his longest sleepover yet at Grandma and Grandpa's house. After a day of picking vegetables, cooking, riding the tractor and stargazing, he realizes he left his stuffed Fuzzy Llama at home and cannot imagine sleeping without him. His grandparents comfort him, and Grandpa offers Little Linty Llama, the very toy he slept with as a boy. The next morning Little Llama reunites with Mama and Fuzzy, proud that he stayed the whole time and made a new friend.

Car Park

Bing wants to play his car park game with Flop, but Charlie, a younger visitor, keeps parking vegetables and tips over the garage. Flop sets Charlie up with a separate game and then takes him to the kitchen so Bing can play on his own. Bing soon finds he does not enjoy playing alone, so he drives Charlie's potato back and the two play together. The episode ends with Bing deciding that playing together is more fun.

Cat

Outside Padget's shop, Bing and his caregiver Flop play hide and seek with Arlo the cat, stroking him until he purrs and falls asleep on a bench. Around the corner Bing meets an unfamiliar cat called Mitten, who hisses and runs off, leaving Bing shaken. Pando arrives, listens to what happened and quietly leads Bing to see Mitten with her newborn kittens, explaining that the mother cat was protecting her babies. The episode ends with Bing recapping the day to Flop and wondering whether one day he and Mitten might play together too.
