Three kitten siblings, Cookie, Pudding and Candy, try to find the right birthday present for their father, with help from their mother. After dismissing ideas like a bicycle, a helicopter and a rocket, they buy a musical card but accidentally drain its battery from listening too much. When daddy arrives, they sing the birthday song themselves to gift him the music in person, and mommy reveals she recorded it on her phone so the family ends with a working musical card after all.

Ruff Ruff the dog is upset because his favourite stick has broken, so his friends Tweet, Dave, and Hattie the Hamster take him on a 'Ruff-Ruff adventure' aboard the 'spin again' vehicle to find a new one. Along the way they ask Mrs Bluebird for help, get sheep out of their path, and locate Dave's lost banana, with the viewer invited to join 'game time' quizzes that always centre on what dogs do best. By the end Ruff Ruff finds a perfect stick at the bluebird's nest and plays fetch with Hattie. He concludes that having friends matters even more than the stick itself.

The Grinch, who hates Christmas and lives alone above the town of Whoville, disguises himself as Santa and steals the Whos' presents, food and trees. When the Whos sing joyfully on Christmas morning anyway, the Grinch realizes the holiday means more than gifts. His heart grows, and he brings everything back and joins their feast.
