Alma the Artist

Alma notices the painted murals around her Bronx neighborhood and suggests decorating the blank gate on Mr. Huda's store. When her friends talk over each other with ideas about spaceships, cowboys, and basketball players, Alma stops to think and proposes that everyone sketch a design for Mr. Huda to choose. He picks Alma's view from her window, and as Andre keeps adding space chinchillas, polka dots, and hippos, Alma learns to speak up and ask him to check with her first. The finished mural includes all the friends, and a neighbor asks Andre to paint the next one.

Together We're Not Alone

Doe accidentally knocks over Ray's guitar while dancing, so the three friends set off for the Falsetto Forest, the place where new guitars grow. On the way in they pass trumpeting flowers, drumming flowers and jingling vines, and Doe, who is nervous about the dark forest, writes each new sound down as the group's expert. After Doe finds the guitar bush and Ray picks a new guitar, they realise nobody remembers the route home. Doe works out that they can retrace the sounds in reverse order, and the friends listen their way back out of the forest.

Pocoyo spots a butterfly and desperately wants to get close to it, but his loud, excited chasing keeps sending it flying away. Guided by Sleepy Bird's 'shh' and a friendly narrator, and joined by his friends Pato the duck, Elly the elephant and Loula the dog, he discovers that being quiet is the way to stay near it. Once he calms down and stays still, the butterfly finally settles. His friends celebrate with 'Hooray for Pocoyo!' before the episode closes.

Yum Yum Baronies

Kiri, a small creature with a red crest, and her purple friend Lou plan to share a feast of their favorite fruit, the yum yum baronies, in their forest home. While Kiri is up a tree, Lou cannot resist and eats every single one, then admits he wasn't thinking. Kiri is hurt that the feast and Lou's promise are both gone, and a drawn-out muddle follows over whether Lou has properly said sorry, briefly involving a passing creature whose name happens to be 'Sorry.' The two friends finally apologize to each other and make up, then set off to look for another tree.

Learning to Share and Take Turns

Cowbella, a cow, keeps bossing her friends Apollo, Squacky, and Sweetpea Sue while they play games before bedtime, until they tell her it does not feel good. After her feelings are hurt, the friends travel to an imaginary Storybook Land, where King Edwin tells a story in which Cowbella is a queen whose servants all leave, and she ends up lonely. She realises she would rather be a friend who listens and takes turns, so she apologises and tells Apollo he can choose the game tomorrow. The episode closes with a friendship song and a bedtime lullaby.

Ray the hummingbird bends her tail feathers dancing too hard in Flora Flamingo's class, and her friends tell her that her body is asking for rest. She resists, suggesting her body wants a snack or another dance instead, and keeps tumbling out of the air until Doe catches her. Maestro Moon explains that even music has rests, and Ray's friends bring her home and settle down with her. After a long rest her feathers mend, and the episode closes with the whole group singing about the signals a body sends.

What Would Freda Do?

Pinecone, who idolises her town's founder Frida the Fierce, is chosen to lead her friends in a group song for the festival honouring Frida. Believing a leader has to be 'fierce', she bosses everyone around until her friends leave to do their own presentations. In her attic she meets Frida's ghost, who reveals she never punched buildings into being but united the town by listening and combining everyone's ideas. Pinecone apologises, reunites the group, and they perform a song they wrote together about a place built on everyone's voice.
