Cheer Up Donkey

Sarah and Duck are looking after Donkey in the back garden while Scarf Lady is at the shops, and Donkey appears sad. Sarah tries a carrot, music on her tuber and a trip to the bread shop, but nothing changes his face. They visit the library, find a book about donkeys and learn that donkeys naturally look sad even when they are happy. After a walk in the park, Duck reveals he was upset because Sarah had buried his bread for him, and Scarf Lady returns to collect a contented Donkey.

Ducks

Bing and his friend Sula go with Flop to the park pond to feed the ducks. Sula shows Bing how to stand 'statue still' and stay quiet so the ducks come close, while Bing keeps scaring them off by being loud. A big goose suddenly arrives and gobbles all the food, startling Bing before flying off. By the end Bing tries again, manages to stay calm and quiet, and a single duck comes right up to him.

Puppy Sitting

Trini agrees to look after Tooey's puppy Key while Tooey's family travels to Japan for a wedding, working from a training checklist Tooey made. At first she spoils Key with cheese and pizza crust and skips his runs, then realises her mistake and trains him hard for several days to get back on track. When Tooey returns, Key responds to his commands and Trini has even taught her own puppy Four Spots a new trick. The episode ends with a live-action visit to the tundra near Nome, where Molly and local children learn about musk ox and their qiviut fur.

Downward Dog

Michael spends the weekend pet-sitting the neighbour's dog, Yuko, with big plans to become her best friend. When Yuko prefers playing with his younger brother Carl, Michael feels left out, until the panda neighbour Stillwater shares a story about Dario, a mouse who learns the joy of giving. Michael realises that keeping Yuko safe and happy, and sharing the fun with Carl, is what good pet-sitting is about. The episode closes with the whole group heading out for a walk together.

Nancy's Devine Sleepover

Nancy takes her little sister JoJo for a sleepover at the fancy Mrs. Devine's house and packs a survival kit to help JoJo feel brave. Once the lights go out, it is Nancy herself who cannot sleep because she misses her parents. With Mrs. Devine's kindness and a phone call home, Nancy learns that feeling homesick in a new place is normal. She decides to stay and the sleepover ends happily.

Frog

Bing and his friend Sula find a frog in the garden while helping Flop water the plants, and decide to make it a home in a bucket. They bring the frog grapes, lettuce, milk, a bed and a blanket, but it will not settle and hops away. With Flop's help, Bing works out that the frog has gone back to its own dark, wet, slimy pipe because frogs like different things than he does. The episode ends with Bing recapping what he learned and the familiar 'it's a Bing thing' tag.

Spike the Hedgehog

Jessica agrees to look after Spike the hedgehog while her friend Stanley and Lulu fly to the Philippines to visit family. With help from her mom and Small Uncle, she learns to feed him, clean his cage, and handle him gently, discovering that banana slices coax the shy pet out. When Spike escapes and hides under the bed, Jessica recalls Stanley's advice and lures him back safely. Stanley returns to a happy, settled hedgehog and thanks Jessica for the great job.

Sarah, Duck and the Penguins

The episode closes with Duck accepting that being a duck is fine and the pair calmly watching the sea cows.

Bees

They take turns trying to chase the swarm away, first with a sheet, then with a butterfly net, then with makeshift beekeeper veils, getting stung in the process. After regrouping, they decide to build a proper wooden beehive from scratch, bait it with honey, and lure the bees inside. They retreat into the house and finally sit down together to eat their bread and honey.

Cat

Outside Padget's shop, Bing and his caregiver Flop play hide and seek with Arlo the cat, stroking him until he purrs and falls asleep on a bench. Around the corner Bing meets an unfamiliar cat called Mitten, who hisses and runs off, leaving Bing shaken. Pando arrives, listens to what happened and quietly leads Bing to see Mitten with her newborn kittens, explaining that the mother cat was protecting her babies. The episode ends with Bing recapping the day to Flop and wondering whether one day he and Mitten might play together too.

Gaston the Ladybird

Ben the elf and Holly the fairy princess play with their friend Gaston the ladybird, riding on his back and watching him roll over. The next day Gaston will not come out, so they ask Nanny Plum for help and visit his cave. They find it messy and smelly and decide to clean it as a surprise, but Gaston cries when he sees what they have done. The friends realise Gaston loved his home just as it was, and they happily put back the cobwebs, smelly socks and dirt before running off to play again.

Copycat

On his walk the family finds a hurt budgie, boxes it up with a tea towel and drives it to the vet, but the bird dies. The episode closes with the copycat game quietly forgotten.
