Over several days the two invent games together, pretending to live in the forest, planting a seed and chasing a wild pig. One morning Bluey finds Jean-Luc's tent packed away and learns his family has gone home. Her mum comforts her with the idea that special people sometimes come for a while and then leave, and the seed they planted grows into a small tree.

At Grizzly Ted's summer day camp, Sister Bear and her friend Lizzy spend their days swimming, hiking, and doing crafts, until the counselor announces an overnight sleep-out on Skull Rock. Sister secretly dreads sleeping so far from home and hides her worry until Lizzy gently draws it out of her. Together they decide to practice with a night in the backyard, and Sister succeeds. She heads to the real sleep-out feeling ready, sharing a campfire story and searching for shooting stars.

Simon and his little brother Gaspard are playing in their grandparents' garden when their grandfather explains that a tiny elf comes out at night to paint the green tomatoes red. Convinced the elf might be real, the brothers sneak outside with a blanket and hide under a table to keep watch. They get spooked by an owl, fall asleep, and miss the elf entirely. In the morning the tomatoes are red, the grandparents are revealed to have slept nearby the whole time, and the boys find a small pot in the garden that convinces them the elf exists.

The Camping Trip and the Hungry Bear

A group of children and their aunties and uncles set up a backyard camping trip, only for their tent to collapse and their food to disappear. They fix the tent, share a single apple, and go fishing when the meal goes missing. A bear turns out to have taken the food, but he explains his own house was broken, apologises, and the children choose to walk him home. The episode ends with the group agreeing to be more prepared for camping next time.
