The Final Book

Kelsey, Craig, and JP set out to find the missing final book of the Dragonmancer series after it goes overdue at the library. Framed as a detective case from the 'Smarty Boys' mystery books, they interview kids who are role-playing as horses and ninjas, chase down a red turtle shell backpack, and hit several dead ends. Craig eventually deduces that Stacks, who writes book reports for other kids, hid the book. Stacks admits she was afraid of losing the only friend who talks with her about stories, and Kelsey forgives her and suggests they read a new series together.

Hop, Look, and Listen

Noah puts on a magic show and wants to pull a rabbit from his top hat, so he asks his friend Coco how to say rabbit in Spanish. Coco offers several wrong words, and a grasshopper, a frog and then a kangaroo appear instead. Noah chases the bouncing kangaroo through the neighborhood and, with a pogo stick from Senora Martinez, finally catches it. Coco then gives him the right word, 'conejo', and Noah thanks her.

Under the Overpass

Craig, Kelsey and JP take a map and float up the creek to gather honeysuckle they can trade for toys. Beyond the overpass they find eerie painted symbols and a silent hooded archer who chases them through the rain. They escape by ditching their loot and pulling JP from the sinking water, then learn the archer is a child protecting their plants who asks them never to return. Craig decides some places are better left undiscovered.

Sunday Clothes

On a Saturday at the creek, middle-schooler JP wets his clothes and, with nothing clean to wear, puts on his special Sunday suit and vows to stay clean and act responsibly. His friends Craig and Kelsey stick with him as he keeps getting dirty and is pulled into refereeing a paintball war between two groups of kids. His attempt to negotiate a truce falls apart and the fight starts up again. When paint fire traps his friends, JP throws himself in to save them, ruining the suit, and they remind him they love him with or without it.

You're It

In the wooded creek where a group of kids spend their afternoons, Kelsey the self-styled warrior gets tagged in a never-ending game of tag and refuses to pass it on to any other child. With her friends Craig and JP, she seeks out the elders of the creek and tries several ways to end the game rather than doom someone to play alone. After Craig takes the tag himself, they find a studious boy who hates the creek and tag him. The episode ends with Craig announcing that tag has left the creek forever and the friends reunited.

Jessica Goes to the Creek

When Craig and his younger sister Jessica get locked out of the house, Craig brings her along to the creek where he plays with his friends Kelsey and JP. Jessica reluctantly trades her fixed after-school routine for a day outdoors while Kelsey tests a series of traps and defenses that keep failing. A group of rival Junior Forest Scouts arrives to confront Craig over a glass bottle and a chase breaks out. The two siblings make up, and by the end Jessica has enjoyed herself, even if she declines to come back the next day.

Bug City Sleuths

Three baby bears arrive in Bug City and appoint themselves detectives to find three missing silkworms. They shadow a spider they assume is guilty, only to discover he is a fellow private eye, then piece together that Mayor Centipede is the real bug-napper. The mayor is caught and arrested, the worms are returned to their parent, and the bears leave the city behind. Along the way the spider reminds them that judging something you do not understand only causes trouble.

Kanga-Wrecker!

At the Super Duper Bunny League's headquarters, the rabbit Stumpy gives his friend Handsome Steve a homemade friendship bracelet. When a robot kangaroo starts wrecking Sandy Harbour in Australia, controlled by a lonely koala called Tango Ruiner, Steve flies ahead while his teammates are stuck on a long commercial flight. Instead of fighting to the finish, Steve wins the villain over with the bracelet after learning he has never had a friend, and the two team up to short-circuit the robot in the water. The villain apologises and promises to stop ruining things, just as the rest of the League finally arrives too late.

I Say Tomato

Noah sets out to help his grandmother, who keeps asking for the 'periodico', the newspaper. A mix-up and a stretch of imagination turn an ordinary errand into a giant tomato that rolls and chases him through the city park and streets. His small pet mouse, pequeño, comes along for the ride. In the end the tomato bursts, leaving them both splattered in red, and they discover they have landed in the local newspaper.

Lizard Lips!

In Important City, a team of rabbits with superpowers called the Super Duper Bunny League faces Lizard Lips, an evil scientist who uses a time machine to bring a Tyrannosaurus Rex from the past. While the team tries to send the dinosaur back, a nervous rabbit named Stumpy is meant to throw the ceremonial first pitch at a big baseball game. In the end, Stumpy's perfect throw powers the time machine and sends the T-Rex home. The episode closes with a teaser for the next story, 'Space Pirates!'

Dylan the dalmatian sets out to clear his brother Diesel, who has been jailed in the dog pound as suspect number one for a crime in the park. With Dolly and the pups, he stages a breakout, then follows scent clues to work out the truth. He realises the culprit used fake rubber paws to mask his smell and that a hairless cat left no fur to trigger an allergy. The real criminal is chased down and exposed, and Diesel is cleared and reunited with the family.

Boo-Dunnit

Three baby bears searching for a home arrive at Spectral Manor, a haunted mansion full of friendly ghosts. When their magic teleporting box is stolen, the bears turn detective and interrogate suspects, following clues to the mansion's overworked footman, who has been plotting to possess a body and escape. After the footman possesses Grizz, the bears use salt to break the spell and free him. The story ends with the ghosts apologizing, the bears reunited with their box, and a narrator sending them on their way.
