Meets the Rot Squad

Ms. Frizzle's class holds a rotten-food contest, and winner Wanda receives a young tree she wants to plant in a vacant lot full of dead logs. When Wanda calls a service to haul away one rotting log, the Magic School Bus shrinks the class to bug size so they can see the fungi, beetles and slime molds living inside it. The children learn that rot is nature recycling itself and race to stop Larry from removing the log. In the end they save it, plant Wanda's tree, and feed it compost.

Prince Too Charming

Crown Princess Elena travels to the neighbouring kingdom of Cordoba to choose a site for a new bridge alongside the boastful Prince Alonzo. When the workers dig up dirt mounds that turn out to be the homes of small owl-like buhitos, they awaken the Yakali, a giant wooden guardian who marches on the palace. Elena studies an old tapestry, realizes the giant is protecting the creatures, and builds new burrows to relocate them safely. The buhitos get a protected meadow, the Yakali departs in peace, and Alonzo is set to work helping build the bridge.

Gets Lost in Space

When the planetarium is closed, Ms. Frizzle takes her class on a field trip through the solar system aboard the magic school bus, joined by Arnold's boastful cousin Janet. After an asteroid knocks Ms. Frizzle out of the bus, the children use her science clues to figure out which planet she landed on, working their way from Jupiter out to Pluto. They find her, and Janet lets go of her need to collect proof of everywhere she has been. The episode closes with a producer answering children's phoned-in questions about what the show got right and wrong.

Scrapping for a Song

Nash, a young Jedi, travels to a scrap-covered planet to find a rare musical instrument called a bioharp as a birthday gift for her music-loving mom. With her friends Erin, Lys and Nubs, she searches the junk fields, races a scrapper and trades with creatures, gathering several instruments along the way. After the bioharp is finally lost to a large creature near a pit, Nash decides more than one present can make her mom happy. The episode ends at home, where her mom loves the instruments and the family plays them together.

Inside Ralphie

Ralphie wakes up with a fever and a sore throat on the day his class is supposed to run a live broadcast. His mother, a doctor, sends him back to bed, so Miss Frizzle brings the class and the Magic School Bus to his room and shrinks everyone down to report from inside his body. Traveling through his bloodstream and throat, the children watch white blood cells, antibodies and medicine defeat the bacteria causing his infection. The episode ends with Ralphie recovering and a phone-in segment answering viewer questions about germs, shots and staying healthy.

Music Mayhem

A group of young Jedi help their favorite band, the Coop Ops, get ready for a concert on a snowy planet. When their droid drummer Kit slips away to get upgrades from a dealer named Rek, the friends set off to bring him back. They sneak aboard Rek's ship, free Kit and reassure him that he is perfect just the way he is. Kit rejoins the band in time to finish the song, and the cheering crowd calls for an encore.

Journey to the Bottom of Naboo

A team of young Jedi, Kai, Nubs and Lys, travel underwater on Naboo with their Gungan guide Klert to recover a lost artifact called the Star Compass from a sunken starship. A recurring thief named Taborr races them for it and manages to grab the compass, but a giant Colo clawfish soon traps him. The Jedi choose to rescue Taborr and let the compass go rather than risk anyone's safety. In the end Klert reveals she quietly retrieved the compass, and everyone escapes the lake together.

Will They Stop the Monster Truck?

When a 'monster truck' starts smashing through Gotham at night, the superhero Batwheels race to stop it. Their nets, traps and sneaking all fail, until Buff suggests simply talking to it. They learn the truck is Grundy, who has been acting out because of a painful nail stuck in his tire. Once they remove the nail, Grundy apologises, helps clean up the mess, and the episode closes with a song about talking things out.

Poison Ivy's Villain Car

Buff, one of the Batwheels, is playing fetch with the dog Ace when the team finds Poison Ivy stealing a car engine to build her own villain vehicle. As they chase her through Gotham at night, Ivy keeps stripping Buff of his gear, his winch, his lights and then his big tires, and each time his friend Bam tells him to improvise with whatever is nearby. Buff solves every setback with a makeshift fix and the team finally stops Ivy, who vows she will return. The episode ends back home with the friends ready for another game.

In the Smurf village, Lazy keeps missing the fun because he is always asleep, so Handy builds him an alarm clock backpack that wakes him every few minutes. Newly awake, Lazy tries everything and parties through the night, but the endless ringing keeps the whole village up and cannot be switched off. When the Smurfs chase him to remove it, Lazy bolts into the forest and past a bear, while Gargamel and Azrael try to grab a Smurf drawn out by the noise. The episode ends with Lazy back home safe and the alarm gone, and Gargamel left empty-handed.

Everything's Coming Up Goofy

Goofy and his son Max load up a moving truck and arrive in a new suburban neighborhood, only to discover that their next-door neighbor is the loud, bossy Pete, who lives with his wife Peg, son PJ and little daughter Pistol. The episode follows the awkward first meetings between the two families, with Goofy's good-natured blunders constantly setting off Pete's temper while Max and PJ quietly start to become friends. A series of mishaps in yards, driveways and around the block builds to a shared backyard baseball game. The episode closes with the families pulled together, however reluctantly, on the same street.

Legion of Zoom Learn Teamwork

In a neon-lit Gotham City, the villainous Legion of Zoom decides to copy the Batwheels by learning to work as a team. Led by Jesta, they plan and rehearse a heist to steal a shipment of Super-Manium, said to be the strongest metal in the universe, before the heroic Batwheels can collect it. The villains pull off the theft together, but Jesta betrays her teammates to keep the prize and is quickly caught by the Batwheels. After she apologizes, her teammates free her and the group reunites.
