Eddie, a young boy, learns that a new girl named Frida is joining his class and worries that his familiar routines will change. Guided by a calm narrator through chapters called Preparing, Welcome, Changes and Being kind, he watches classmates make welcome cards, practises greeting someone new, and eventually offers Frida his rocket toy when she looks unsure. Set almost entirely in a colourful classroom, the story follows his shift from resisting change to accepting it. By the end Eddie says he is really glad Frida is there and is ready for a new classmate.

Sister Bear is nervous about starting third grade after Too Tall's gang teases her that it is impossibly hard. At home, Brother, Mama and Papa reassure her, and Mama uses a photo album to recall how Sister once dreaded kindergarten yet quickly came to love it. Encouraged, Sister tries third grade and comes home pleased, while Papa faces his own fear and bakes his first apple pie. The episode ends with the family together and the lesson that new things are worth trying.

Tot and Potato

Chip is a young pug whose baby sister Tot is teething and uncomfortable. Chip lends Tot her beloved snuggly, a toy mouse named Potato, and then faces her first school day without it. At school she finds her way to the principal's office and, when she cannot read the story she wrote, tells a new one aloud and earns a certificate. By the end Tot's first tooth comes through, the baby says her first word, 'thank you', to Chip, and Potato is returned.

Peppa and George travel to Peppa's playgroup for George's first day, watched over by Madam Gazelle. Peppa first worries her little brother is too small, but after Danny Dog admires George's toy dinosaur she becomes proud of him. During a painting session Peppa tries to teach George to paint a flower while he paints a dinosaur instead. Madam Gazelle praises both pictures and hangs them on the wall, and the children ask if George can come again next time.

Tower Tower Wow

Lu the ladybird heads to Shell School, where she and her friends set out to build the tallest tower they can. When Dean knocks Gus's tower down as part of a game his own family plays, Gus is upset because no one explained the rules. A teacher helps the friends talk it through until they realize it was a misunderstanding. They end up happily playing 'tower tower wow' together, finishing with a wiggly dance.

Boo-bam's School Visit

Nico the panda brings his new beanie snuggly, Boo-Bam, to Rainbow Forest School, and his friend Chip the pug promises to help keep it safe with her secret mouse Potato. Across a day of PE games led by teacher Mr. Diggerty, classmate Howie keeps grabbing Boo-Bam without asking, and Potato repeatedly rescues the toy. Mr. Diggerty turns the trouble into a song about asking politely and saying please. By the end, Howie asks nicely, Nico happily shares Boo-Bam, and everyone is praised for being kind and careful.

Pete the Cat and his friends miss the school bus and take a shortcut through the park to arrive on time. Along the way they pretend to be knights and space officers, turning a puddle into a lava river and their walk into an adventure, while Grumpy the toad resists joining in. Pete helps Grumpy see that imagination is a way to solve problems, not just to play. Grumpy finally joins the game, and the group reaches school having made the trip fun.

First Day Of School

Bug Hugs

With the teacher's help they learn that everyone gets to choose, and a hug can become a 'boop' instead. The episode closes with a playful boop game and the friends still happy together.

Prehistoric Class Pets

Eureka, a young inventor, and her friends head to school in a prehistoric world where Pepper's pet dinosaur Dipply keeps following them. Their teacher Om lets Dipply stay for the day, but when more animals arrive and a fruit-throwing game ends in a crash, the new rule becomes no pets at school. To help, Eureka builds a 'fruit catapult' so Pepper can send Dipply a happy message at home and let her know she is safe. The episode ends with the friends playing together after school.

In a colorful prehistoric forest, young inventor Eureka and her classmates rush to school to catch the Hippodon migration but keep arriving too late. Eureka builds a sliding sled to get there faster, which clashes with Bog, who insists nothing should ever change and secretly breaks it. After investigating the wreck, Eureka traces the damage to Bog, who confesses he was jealous of the attention she received. They make up by fitting Bog's sign onto the sled to help it steer, and the group reaches school in time to see the Hippodons together.

Bruda's Pie

In an underwater world, a young whale named Bruder bakes a plankton pie with his mum and takes it to a school picnic led by his teacher Miss Aime. When several classmates lose or forget their snacks, the friends follow a delicious smell around the seabed but cannot find its source. A seahorse named Puri shares his small kelp donut, and Bruder finally admits the smell is his own hidden pie. He shares it with everyone and the day ends with the friends eating together and smiling.
