Shadow

Bing, a young rabbit, discovers his shadow while playing in the garden and plays a game of shadow tag with his carer Flop, taking turns as the 'shadow monster'. When a big rain cloud covers the sun, the shadows vanish and the two head indoors, but Bing is upset that his shadow is left out in the wet. Flop explains that a shadow stays close to you and only appears when light reaches you, then uses a torch to bring Bing's shadow back inside. The episode closes with Bing recapping the game and the idea that shadows need light.

Hide and Seek

Bing, a young rabbit, plays hide and seek at the crèche with his friends Sula, Pando and Coco, looked after by the carer Emma. When the others stop for the toilet routine, Bing decides to hold his pee so he can keep playing and be the one who is 'it.' He holds it through the game but wets his dungarees just afterwards. Emma reassures him, helps him clean up, Sula finds dry pants in the lost basket, and Bing reflects that next time he will go before playing or stop the game to use the toilet.

Frog

Bing and his friend Sula find a frog in the garden while helping Flop water the plants, and decide to make it a home in a bucket. They bring the frog grapes, lettuce, milk, a bed and a blanket, but it will not settle and hops away. With Flop's help, Bing works out that the frog has gone back to its own dark, wet, slimy pipe because frogs like different things than he does. The episode ends with Bing recapping what he learned and the familiar 'it's a Bing thing' tag.

March Like an Ant

Little Nutbrown Hare and his father pick red berries for breakfast, but by morning the berries have vanished. With help from Little Field Mouse, Little Nutbrown Hare tracks them down and discovers a line of ants carrying the berries away. His father explains that ants live in underground nests and carry food home to their families. The episode ends with father and son under the old oak tree, sharing the last berries and measuring how much they love each other.

Piano

Three animal friends, Ela the fox, Hari the hippo, and Seren the bat, play in a pop-up-book world while a narrator runs a word game. The day's word is 'piano,' and Ela is chosen to find it. She works out that a piano must stay dry and so should be indoors, then searches a house, mistaking a spoon and some saucepan lids for the answer before discovering the real piano. She returns to tell her friends what she found, and the group says goodbye.

New Kid on the Block

When a moving truck brings a new family to the block, Bea and her friends welcome the new kid, Priya, with homemade cookies. Priya cannot find her favourite puppets among the moving boxes and grows worried, so the friends form a 'kindness club' and play detectives to track them down. They follow clues, a smiley face on the box, its large size, and the oink of a piggy bank inside, until they open the right box. Priya reunites with her puppets and the group welcomes her to the neighbourhood.

Shiny Rock

Duck and Goose, two friends with very different personalities, set out across the meadow to find the shiniest rock after their friend Bluebird describes it and gives them directions. Distracted by a mud puddle and a frog, Duck leads them off the path and the pair end up lost in a forest. By remembering the silly things they did along the way and following a butterfly back toward the meadow, they retrace their route past the landmarks. They find the glowing purple rock together and celebrate how their differences make a good team.

Feather Your Nest

Little Nutbrown Hare receives a special feather from his father and shows it off to his meadow friends, until it drifts away and is carried off by a bird. The field mouse, otter, squirrel and fox each help him try to get it back. They discover a bird has used it to line her nest and keep her eggs warm. Little Nutbrown Hare decides to let her keep it, and the episode ends with a loving exchange between him and his father.

Jack's Kindness Story

In this live-action episode, host Jack visits the Hummingbird Cafe, where young Olivia decides to make a homemade book to make her Uncle Theo laugh. With Jack's help she builds the book from paper, a folder and crayons and draws a silly squirrel story, but the wind scatters and ruins the pages around town. Neighbours help gather them, and when the book cannot be saved, Olivia performs the story aloud instead, with Jack acting out the pictures. Uncle Theo laughs, they share a hug, and others are inspired to make books for people they care about.

Polly and the Skunk

On a sunny farm, the tractor Otis and his friends want to play their favorite ball game with Polly the puppy, but Polly gets sprayed by a skunk and smells too bad to come near. Otis tries several ideas to hide the smell, covering Polly in flowers and playing catch from a distance, but each one fails. In the end the group rolls in squashed tomatoes so everyone smells the same and the skunk smell disappears. They all play together again, and Otis is thanked for being a helper.

Howie Has Heart

Chip the pug puppy brings her papa, a Happyton police officer, to school for a class talk about police tools. During the visit her secret snuggly Potato goes missing, and Chip suspects her classmate Howie took it. Using paw prints, a trail and the school's new security camera, she discovers Potato was accidentally shut in the piano room and that Howie was not to blame. Chip returns Howie's own lost snuggly, apologises for the accusation, and the friends make up.

Treasure Hunt

Little Nutbrown Hare sets off across a spring meadow and forest with Little Field Mouse and Little Grey Squirrel to gather treasures for his father. Along the way they meet a bluebird, an otter and other animals who each offer a find, from acorns and eggshells to sparkly stones. Meanwhile Big Nutbrown Hare follows the trail his son has left to find him. They reunite at nightfall, and the father tells his son he is the greatest treasure of all before they share their finds under the spring moon.
