Find Mom's Phone

A Song for Lola

Molly helps her friend create a special song to honor her grandmother, Lola Miranda, who is returning to their Alaskan village from the Philippines. Following an Alaska Native tradition explained by Grandpa Nat, the children secretly gather family stories, then worry the funny ones are not serious enough for a gifted song. They learn that a song should match the person it honors, so a cheerful Lola deserves a cheerful song. At the welcome-back dinner they perform it, and Lola calls it the best gift she has ever received.

Da Get Pep Band

Lyla's mother comes home celebrating a win with her sports team's cheering group, the Get Pep Band, and Lyla's dad and three children decide to try out. Lyla refuses to quit and invents a new way to learn: the children hop across giant notes drawn on the ground while singing, feeling the length of each beat with their bodies. It works, and all three join the band for a final celebration.

Abuela's Birthday

The Race

Stillwater tells a version of The Tortoise and the Hare in which the tortoise races against himself, and Addy realises she set a personal best time. The siblings celebrate with smoothies and Asha comes over to congratulate her.

Buddy Race

Dora is running a buddy race in the park with her friend Alana to raise money to rebuild the city's playground. When Alana twists her ankle just before the start, the group decides that Pablo, Emma, Naya and Kate will each take one section of the race and pass a team flag along. The course takes them through a tandem bike and hula hoop obstacle run, a rhyming music stage, a kayak trip down an underground river and a fruit catching round in costume. Alana returns for the final sports brain teasers, the team finishes, and the announcer confirms the playground will be repaired.

The Search for Mono

Dora, Kate and Pablo are handing out donated toys at the Children's Hospital when they meet Miguel, who has lost his stuffed monkey Mono. After helping him calm down enough to remember that Mono fell out of his bag on the train, they follow the trail to the station, meet a room full of forgotten toys in the lost and found, and repair an old locomotive that carries them to the train yard. There they identify the right carriage just as a cleaning robot starts sealing it, and Pablo's soccer kick opens the door in time. Mono goes back to Miguel, and the leftover toys from the lost and found find homes with the other children.

The Magic Ring

At school, Dora, Naya and Pablo are reading stories about ancient treasure to younger children when Pablo finds an old ring in the garden and shrinks to thumb size after putting it on. They match the glyphs on the ring against library books and learn that only placing it on Princess Xochitl's finger will break the spell, so all three shrink and travel through a tiny door into an ancient kingdom. With help from a mouse they dodge a greedy wizard and his cat, cross a puddle on a giant duck and climb up to the sleeping princess. The wizard's theft is exposed at his hut, the ring goes back on the princess's finger, and Pablo returns to school full-size with a medal and a story to tell.

Mystery of the Magic Horses

Dora and her friends volunteer at Rancho Urbano, a city farm where children come to meet animals, and meet Dulce, the only horse on the farm. When Dulce's charm necklace starts glowing, Dora follows her onto a raft that drifts through an enchanted mist to an island where six horses have been hidden since horse bandits tried to steal them. Dora, Naya and Marco outrun the bandits, navigate a cave, free Dulce from seaweed and get every horse onto the raft. The horses are returned to Farmer Ana Maria, and now there are enough for all the children waiting to ride.

Tall Teeny

In a colorful amusement-park town, a small girl named Teeny feels overlooked when she is turned away from a ride for being too short. With her friend Goldie, she pretends to be tall using a disguise and enjoys new treatment before admitting the truth. When the mayor's cat gets stuck in a maze that only someone small can enter, Teeny saves it as her real self and is honored for her bravery. She ends the day deciding she is happy to stay small.

Li'l Cutie

Goldie, a giant girl in a colourful town, longs for a pet and adopts a ladybug she names Lil' Cutie. Determined to keep her safe, she builds a tiny bed and seals her in a jar, until the ladybug escapes and the friends search the whole town to find her.
