Bing, a young rabbit, discovers his shadow while playing in the garden and plays a game of shadow tag with his carer Flop, taking turns as the 'shadow monster'. When a big rain cloud covers the sun, the shadows vanish and the two head indoors, but Bing is upset that his shadow is left out in the wet. Flop explains that a shadow stays close to you and only appears when light reaches you, then uses a torch to bring Bing's shadow back inside. The episode closes with Bing recapping the game and the idea that shadows need light.
