Fireworks

Bing is excited to watch fireworks from his garden with Flop, while friends Pando, Coco and Charlie play nearby. Sula arrives wearing earmuffs because she does not like the bangs, and Bing insists he is brave enough to go outside. When a huge rocket bangs overhead Bing races back in and hides under the kitchen table, upset by the noise. Flop adapts a pair of oven mitts into 'ear gloves' so Bing can step back to the window and enjoy the rest of the fireworks safely, and Bing recaps the lesson to the viewer at the end.

Rainy Day Rainbow Painting

Eeyore greets the viewer and invites them to paint on a rainy day. When rain clouds keep him from painting the blue sky, he watches the raindrops make puddles and decides to paint a gray-and-blue cloud instead. A rainbow appears, and he adds it to his picture, ending with a finished rainy-day painting he says will remind him of the shared time. He says goodbye, and a closing card offers the next episode.

Blossoms

Little Nutbrown Hare, his father Big Nutbrown Hare and Little Field Mouse follow blossoms floating in a stream and set out on a springtime journey to find the blossom tree they came from. Along the way the father shares riddles, and the children work out each clue to climb the hill and reach the flowering tree. On the way home they realise the stream will carry them back the way the blossoms came, a quicker route. The story ends back where they began, with a tender exchange about how much they love each other.

Can You Touch the Stars?

Little Nut Brown Hare and his friend Little Field Mouse spend one evening in the forest trying to touch a star after hearing Little White Owl's bedtime story. They climb a hill, a tree and ask the bluebird for help, learning from Big Nut Brown Hare that stars are far away. In the end they touch a star's shimmering reflection in the river. The night closes with the little hare and his father gazing at the sky and sharing how much they love each other.

Picnic

Broken Ducky

The family realizes the ducky simply cannot run like a real duck, and they find new ways to include it in their play. The episode closes with everyone playing together and a short song.

Musical Statues

At an indoor play group it is Bing's turn to choose, and he picks musical statues. With Flop working the music, Bing, Sula, Pando, Coco and baby Charlie dance and then freeze each time the music stops, dropping out one by one when they wobble. Pando is the last statue standing, and Bing is disappointed that he did not win the game he chose, so he stops playing. He soon decides to rejoin because it is more fun with everyone, and the group settles in to play again.

Go to the Beach

Duck, who loves new things, and Goose, who loves their familiar meadow, hear from a passing bluebird about the beach. After some back and forth, Goose agrees to go, and the two spend the day exploring sand, seaweed, a crab and the waves. They build a sandcastle, watch it wash away, and rebuild it, and Goose finally finds a hollow shell that echoes the sound of home. They head back to the meadow together, each glad the other is exactly who they are.

Cousin Hodie's Rainy Day

Donkey Hodie and her visiting cousin plan a day of outdoor games, but rain cancels everything and the cousin feels let down. Donkey Hodie introduces a 'rainstorm brainstorm' and together they find rainy-day fun: splashing in puddles, smelling flowers, sharing a snack with Purple Panda, and reading a story with Grampy about a magical rainbow tree. When the rain keeps them from seeing the real rainbow, the friends make their own friend rainbow out of friends in every color. The rain finally stops, the rainbow tree bursts into color, and the cousins celebrate their day together.

Shiny Rock

Duck and Goose, two friends with very different personalities, set out across the meadow to find the shiniest rock after their friend Bluebird describes it and gives them directions. Distracted by a mud puddle and a frog, Duck leads them off the path and the pair end up lost in a forest. By remembering the silly things they did along the way and following a butterfly back toward the meadow, they retrace their route past the landmarks. They find the glowing purple rock together and celebrate how their differences make a good team.

Gonzo suggests turning one cloud into two dolphins playing volleyball, and the friends set off to find a bathtub and a watermelon. The episode ends with a cloud shaped like the friends themselves and the line 'best play date ever.'

Show And Smell/The Campfire Conundrum
