Phoebe and Jay are siblings who want to surprise their friend Manny by building a pillow fort while he is away doing chores. Using a diagram Manny drew, they gather blankets, pillows and couch cushions, but their first attempt collapses because they ignore the order of the steps. With encouragement from their dad, they realize the numbers on the diagram show the sequence, rebuild the fort correctly, and add their own touches to make it bigger. Manny returns to find the finished fort, and the family wraps up with a playful pretend gator chase.

What Will Little Bear Wear?

Little Bear wants to play in the falling snow, but keeps coming back inside to tell Mother Bear he is cold. One by one she closes her eyes and makes him a hat, a coat and snow pants, and finally hands back his own fur. Outside he builds a snow bear all by himself, adding buttons, a hat and Father Bear's scarf. In the end he realises that playing has warmed him up and he is not cold at all.

Paper Rocketship

Siblings Phoebe and Jay are set to watch a real rocket launch from their apartment building, but rain cancels it. Their neighbour Mr. Gurley shows them his record paper airplane that flew twenty feet, and teaches them to measure distance in feet. The children fold and launch their own paper rockets again and again, measuring each flight and adjusting the design. After several short attempts they finally fly one thirty-two feet, setting a new building record and earning a spot in the showcase.

Up a Tree

In this episode, George decides he wants his own home in a tree and sets out to build a treehouse near the country house. He sketches a plan, tests materials, and gathers wood and nails from neighbours, working through problems with the floor, walls and roof largely on his own. When the Man with the Yellow Hat and the neighbours realise George borrowed a wall and nails without asking, George has to take the house apart and give everything back. He then rebuilds it properly and finally gets to make his own house rules.

A Present for Elly

In this episode Pocoyo learns it is Elly's birthday and decides to make her a present himself. On a plain pastel stage he gathers shapes and builds them into a large pink Elly, then works out that it is missing its trunk and puts it in the right place. A narrator guides the story and invites the child to guess along about the birthday and the missing piece. Pocoyo delivers the finished gift and the friends sing happy birthday to Elly.

Silky's New Friend

On the Irish island of Puffin Rock, the seal pup Silky is thrilled about her new friend Clementine, who turns out to be a small clam. Her puffin friend Oona doubts what makes an ordinary clam special, but when Clementine disappears in the ocean the two search the coral reef together. Along the way they learn how clams bury themselves in the sand to escape seagulls, and Oona comes to see the clam's cleverness. They find Clementine and introduce her to Bernie and baby Baba, ending on the idea that even the smallest creatures can be amazing.

The Big Sneeze

Pocoyo, Pato the duck and Ellie the elephant take turns building a tower out of coloured blocks in a plain, open space. Each time it grows tall, Ellie sneezes and knocks it over, which frustrates Pato until the narrator explains she has a cold and cannot help it. Pocoyo helps settle Ellie into bed to rest so the others can keep playing. At the end Pato appears to have caught the cold too, and the narrator says goodbye.

Moose decides to build a homemade arcade in the backyard, and the friends craft games out of flower pots, cardboard boxes and a bucket. They test the games on Henry, discover they are too easy, and rework them with obstacles and traps until they feel just right. The episode ends with the finished arcade opened up to visitors from the community center and the show's closing theme song.

The Secret Invention

Jessica notices her older brother Craig gathering household items for a secret project and is desperate to find out what it is. He reveals the Balloon Mobile 5000, a toy car he built, then leaves her to watch it, warning her not to touch. Jessica touches it anyway, it breaks, and she rebuilds it using Craig's drawing before confessing the truth. Craig forgives her, and together they build an improved version using her idea to add a straw.

He turns down offers from his friends Re and Mi to fly up and look, builds a catapult and then a rope lift in his workshop, and tests both. At the top he finds Conga and Bongo building a treetop roller coaster, and everyone joins in to finish it.

Cozy Fort

Alone in his fort, Harvey realizes it feels better with company, so friends gather one by one until a game of funny faces sends everyone laughing and topples all the little forts.
