Birthday Dance Surprise

Phoebe, a young girl living at the Topsy Towers apartment community, hears Grandma Annie's favourite song and decides to make up a surprise dance for her grandmother's birthday. She teaches the three-part dance to her brother Jay, her friend Lupe, neighbour Mr. Gurley and her dad, finding a different way to help each one learn, from turning the steps into a song to recording a video they can slow down and drawing pictures of each move. The family keeps the dance a secret while they practise. At the party, everyone performs it together and Grandma Annie calls it the best birthday surprise ever.

No-Go Mofongo

Alma's Puerto Rican family is hosting a backyard cookout, and her mom decides to make great-grandmother Cecilia's famous mofongo from an old recipe book. When the dish does not taste right, Alma secretly tries to fix it herself and only makes it worse, all while struggling to tell her busy mom the truth. After stopping to think it through, she admits what happened, and her mom reassures her and invites her to fix the mofongo together. The episode ends with the family enjoying the rescued dish at the cookout.

Twinkle Toes

Pick Oranges

Sleepover

The next day Jessica returns home and happily reunites with Small Uncle to tell him all about it.

Look at Me, Little Me

Her friends and the flamingos tell her she only has to be herself, and she performs the show that evening as she is.

Grocery Store Friend

They recover the food, the two families meet, and Jessica and Poppy arrange a play date before heading home.

Feathery Friends Day

The song travels through Seymore, Juan Peacock, Pequeña, Flora and Mama Maddie, but the words change along the way while the melody stays the same. Mi decides instead to sing it to everyone at once, and the episode ends with a night-time concert for the whole town.
