Up a Tree

In this episode, George decides he wants his own home in a tree and sets out to build a treehouse near the country house. He sketches a plan, tests materials, and gathers wood and nails from neighbours, working through problems with the floor, walls and roof largely on his own. When the Man with the Yellow Hat and the neighbours realise George borrowed a wall and nails without asking, George has to take the house apart and give everything back. He then rebuilds it properly and finally gets to make his own house rules.

The Best Shell

On the island of Puffin Rock, baby puffin Baba picks up a shell that turns out to belong to Bernie the hermit crab. His big sister Una realises the mistake and leads a search across the beach and grotto to find Bernie and return it. While they are away the tide comes in and washes the shell into a rock pool, and Una wades out to recover it. Bernie forgives the puffins, settles back into his best shell, and the day ends with everyone reunited.

Lofty and the Diggers Three

Lofty the crane feels left out of what Scoop, Muck and Dizzy call their 'Diggers Three' club. While the team helps Bob and guest designer Tony Toberomi clear hills for a new theme park, Lofty quietly 'borrows' flowers, a pirate hat and a surfboard to suggest themes, but each idea turns out to be one the diggers already had. When the last hill turns out to be rocky, Lofty's lifting reveals a diplodocus skeleton, which becomes the park's dinosaur theme; Rubble then tells him the Diggers Three was only a made-up name and the team folds him into a new 'dinosaur club'.

The Berry Best

In Sodor, a group of engines gets covered in mud and heads to the train wash, only to find the beloved strawberry soap has run out. Led by Thomas and Percy, they decide to make their own by taking strawberries from Farmer McCall's field, but they keep returning until the whole crop is gone. When they realise they have ruined the harvest, they admit their mistake, and Whiff gives them his own strawberries and seeds to replant. The episode ends with the engines helping the farmer and planting seeds for next year's jam.

Tool Duel

Gabby the mechanic uses her toolbox to fix Blaze and his monster-truck friends, until Crusher sneaks off with the tools. Blaze and his driver AJ chase Crusher across town, water and hills, getting past a slippery banana launcher, building a hydrofoil, and testing materials to stop a robot shark. Along the way Blaze explains friction and how different materials hold up. In the end Blaze wins the toolbox back, Gabby repairs every truck including Crusher, and Crusher learns to say thank you.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

A host named Ms. Linda introduces and reads aloud the Dr. Seuss book 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas'. The Grinch, who hates Christmas and lives alone above the town of Whoville, disguises himself as Santa and steals the Whos' presents, food and trees. When the Whos sing joyfully on Christmas morning anyway, the Grinch realizes the holiday means more than gifts. His heart grows, and he brings everything back and joins their feast.

Wingo's Way

Team RoboGobo, a group of pets in robotic suits led by Dax, a boy with a robotic arm, practices rescue moves through a hoop. Wingo the bird cannot complete the loop because his smaller wing slips off the controls, and he becomes discouraged. While Dax encourages him, the greedy Gimme Pig steals all their suits through his tunnels and captures Dax. Trapped in the hideout, Wingo works out an adaptive way to fly the loop and turn the crank, freeing the gear, defeating the pig and escaping.

Kiya and the Boombastic

Motsie builds a leaf blower to clean Kimoja Park before the Unity Globe sculpture is unveiled, and lends it to Kiya with a promise that she will look after it. Kiya leaves it behind while helping a stranded bush baby, and the mischief-maker Acrobrat picks it up and uses it to fire giant bouncy balls at the city. Kiya hides the loss from her friends until the trouble grows too big, then admits what happened and is forgiven. The three heroes work together to recover the blower, secure the Unity Globe and return it to the park, where the celebration goes ahead.

The Crew Builds a Big Bike Shop

In the town of Builder Cove, the construction pup Rubble and his crew are asked to build a bigger bike shop so every child has a bike for the town's first Bike Day. A rival named Rosie, with her friend Mr. McTurtle, steals their supplies and, disguised as Speedmeister, throws up a shaky shop she claims as her own. When that building starts to sway with a character stuck on top, the pups rescue him with a slide and then pour the foundation she skipped. The shop is made safe, a truck of big kid bikes arrives, and Lily rides her new bike as Bike Day begins.

The Night of 1000 Lights

Kia and her friends in Kimoja are preparing for the Night of a Thousand Lights, when fireflies emerge from grubs protected under a force field. After Zane claims he has seen the legendary dancing sprites, Kia sneaks back to the baobab tree alone, leaves the force field switched off, and Acrobrat digs up the grubs to light his own stunt show. Kia admits her mistake, and the three heroes chase Acrobrat through the city and recover the jar. The grubs are returned to the ground, the fireflies rise at dusk, and the community dances under the lights.

Take a Step Back

At a city skate park, Kiya gets drawn into a dance challenge with Zane and cannot let go of losing, until her father MC Harmony tells her to take a step back. When Acrobrat steals a shopkeeper's new sign and starts wrecking the city on a giant hoverboard, Kiya and her friends Motsy and Jay transform into the Kimoja Heroes. Kiya chases Acrobrat so single-mindedly that her friends and family end up stranded in a tipping cable car, and she has to stop mid-pursuit to help them. The sign is returned to Rajabu's shop, Kiya apologises, and the group finishes with a dance together.

Zeta Takes Genie Gems

Leah and her genies Shimmer and Shine head to the beach, where they find a bottle holding Layla, an ice genie who needs a cold place to live. They settle on the Ice Palace, but the genie Zeta steals Layla's magical ice gem necklace to freeze all of Zahramay Falls and prove she is the most powerful genie. After a chase full of ice attacks, the necklace is recovered just as the cold turns on Zeta herself. Layla uses it to thaw Zeta, keeps her necklace, and moves into the Ice Palace with her new friends.
