Oona's Cave

The Thumbsucker

Her uncle suggests keeping her hands busy, and she starts coloring to redirect the urge. By the next TV night she gets through a whole show without sucking her thumb and her brother tells her he is proud of her.

The Best Shell

On the island of Puffin Rock, baby puffin Baba picks up a shell that turns out to belong to Bernie the hermit crab. His big sister Una realises the mistake and leads a search across the beach and grotto to find Bernie and return it. While they are away the tide comes in and washes the shell into a rock pool, and Una wades out to recover it. Bernie forgives the puffins, settles back into his best shell, and the day ends with everyone reunited.

On a warm afternoon on Puffin Rock, young puffin Oona and her baby brother Baba set out to help Bernie the hermit crab prepare a feast for a visiting lady crab friend. They gather food across the island with the pine marten Mossy, whose earlier theft of the crabs' berries brings the crabs after them, until Mossy apologises and everyone shares. The gathered feast is lost, so the children bring Bernie a piece of bark instead, which delights him. The episode ends with Bernie and his friend sharing a quiet sunset dinner.

Alma Cools Off

When Howard tells little Junior he is too little to play, Junior is left out and upset, so Alma comforts him and includes him in follow-the-leader. Howard apologizes to Junior, and the episode ends with everyone, big and small, playing water tag together.

The Secret Invention

He reveals the Balloon Mobile 5000, a toy car he built, then leaves her to watch it, warning her not to touch. Craig forgives her, and together they build an improved version using her idea to add a straw.

Summerweenie Halloweenie

Three wombat siblings, Zadie, Malik and Zeke, decide they cannot wait for autumn and invent 'Summerweenie Halloweenie' so they can trick-or-treat in the middle of summer. When grumpy Mr. E turns them away because he has never enjoyed Halloween, they take him along and he ends up loving it. The episode closes with a short song in which children guess what is hidden inside a mystery box by touch.

The Curious Case of Lil' Liz

Lil' Liz returns to the lounge and Arthur forgives Ada, who has lost her fear along the way. The episode ends with Ada bubbling over with new questions about the lizard.

Buzzbee the Magician

Buzzbee the bee finds his Papa's magic hat and, after failing to make real magic happen, learns it works through a hidden secret door. He proudly puts on a show for his friends, but his big sister Ruby gives away the secret and he shouts at her before she leaves. Buzzbee fears his wish made her disappear, then Ruby returns with a gift and an apology. The siblings make up and perform a new trick together with their baby sister and some honey cake.
