Jessica visits Rosie's restaurant with her dad and tastes gumbo for the first time, discovering that trying new food can be fun. Back home, she and her friend Stanley set up their own pretend restaurant, drawing a menu and serving snacks to family and friends. When their last crackers break, Jessica invents a new dish from carrots, peanut butter and crumbs. Everyone tastes it and enjoys the surprise creation.

Alma's Rescue Repair

Alma, a girl from the Bronx, watches her Papi head off to rescue a squirrel and decides to start her own service, 'Alma's Rescue Repair.' She fixes a friend's wind-blown music stand and a neighbour's tomato tower, but hauling her tools back and forth is tiring and they keep falling off her wagon. After seeing how Mr. Ramirez keeps all his tools in his shoe shop, Alma sets up her repair service at home so people come to her. The episode ends with her helping again from her organised home base.

Daniel’s Birthday

Daniel Tiger and his mom take the Trolley to Baker Aker's neighborhood bakery to choose a birthday cake, settling on a tiger-shaped cake decorated with three black and four orange stripes. A frosting glob lands on the cake during decorating, and on the bumpy ride home the cake gets smushed flat. With mom's help Daniel uses the refrain 'when something seems bad, turn it around and find something good' to reframe both setbacks. The episode closes with Daniel, his parents and his friends Katerina, Miss Elaina and Prince Wednesday celebrating around the smushed cake at his birthday party.

Zou, a young zebra, is bored until the postman brings letters for everyone except him, plus one delivered by mistake. His mum takes him to the post office where Postmaster Zoey shows him how mail is sent, inspiring Zou to set up his own post office at home. After a confused first round with unlabelled parcels, Grandpa helps him introduce a post box and name labels, and Zou successfully delivers every parcel and receives a thank-you letter from the family.

Siblings Phoebe and Jay, with their dad, grandmother, a young friend named Lupe and Fire Inspector Josie, learn about fire safety in their apartment building, Topsy Towers. They find safety tools, learn what exit signs and the emergency exit are for, and build a family fire safety plan with three steps: stop, exit, and wait at a meeting place. When Lupe is frightened by the loud alarm, a grandmother teaches a calming breathing trick. The family practices the drill, completes all three steps, and receives Safety Squad badges.

Paint on the Mail

Siblings Phoebe and Jay live in an apartment building called Tobsy Towers with their dad and grandma. When wet paint smears the addresses on two packages, the family delivers them by reading the leftover clues, floor numbers, apartment letters, and wayfinding signs, meeting several neighbors along the way. They reach the right doors, make new friends, and learn that a kind neighbor named Mr. Gurley never gets any mail. The episode ends with the children hand-delivering him a gift that blends their two favorite games.

The Hugo Express

Esme, a young girl, and her monster friend Roy look after Hugo, a small monster who loves trains. Together they turn the playroom into a pretend train called 'The Hugo Express', building tracks and taking turns as conductor. When the play hits a snag and Hugo's feelings run high, Esme and Roy help him work through it step by step. The train game gets back on track and the friends finish happily.

Izzy and her mum, a vet, rescue a young koala that has been separated from her mother and stung around the eyes by green ants. They bring her home, treat her with eye cream, and coax her to eat leaves and drink milk, then name her Twinkle. Izzy decorates an enclosure with bark and eucalyptus and introduces Twinkle to another rescued koala, Chompy, who welcomes her. The episode closes with Izzy reminding viewers to tell an adult if they find a sick or injured animal.

Izzy then scouts three places on the island and tests leaf samples to find where Rosie will thrive. Rosie picks the leaf from near Izzy's school, so the family releases her there, and the episode closes with a goodbye and a safety message about hurt animals.

Pizza Please

Harvey the dog, Ginger the cat and Robin the bird head to a pizza restaurant, but it is full and they must wait outside for a table. Robin cannot stop thinking about pizza, so her friends try a guessing game, a book and a game of catch to help her wait, and finally a pizza song keeps her happy. When their table is ready, Dennis serves them a pizza shaped like Robin and they sing a song about being thankful. The episode closes with a separate counting song led by a dancing octopus.
