Tea Party Trouble

Nancy hosts a fancy tea party in her front yard with her friend Bree and borrows Grandma's heirloom teapot after promising to be careful. Nancy's Dog Show Disaster

After watching a televised dog show, Nancy decides her poodle Frenchy could win one too and organizes a contest in her backyard with her Plainfield friends. She trains Frenchy for the obedience and special-skills rounds, but he keeps running off and refusing commands, so she quietly enters Mrs. Devine's well-trained poodle Jewel in his place. When Frenchy bounds back mid-event, the judges disqualify Nancy for showing two dogs, and Bree and her dog Waffles win the trophy. Nancy hugs Frenchy and tells him he is still the best dog in the world.

Petey the Stargazer

Petey, a boy who loves stargazing, decides aliens must not be real after a supposed UFO turns out to be a blimp. His friends Goldie and Romeo, unwilling to let him lose that wonder, secretly stage crop circles, a homemade UFO and an alien visitor named Zor-Zor, and soon the whole town of Boysenburg prepares a welcome. When Petey discovers it was all his friends' doing, he decides that having friends like them means anything is possible and keeps believing. The segment ends with the group back at their telescopes and a short teaser for the next story.

Meets the Rot Squad

Ms. Frizzle's class holds a rotten-food contest, and winner Wanda receives a young tree she wants to plant in a vacant lot full of dead logs. When Wanda calls a service to haul away one rotting log, the Magic School Bus shrinks the class to bug size so they can see the fungi, beetles and slime molds living inside it. The children learn that rot is nature recycling itself and race to stop Larry from removing the log. In the end they save it, plant Wanda's tree, and feed it compost.

Tall Teeny

In a colorful amusement-park town, a small girl named Teeny feels overlooked when she is turned away from a ride for being too short. With her friend Goldie, she pretends to be tall using a disguise and enjoys new treatment before admitting the truth. When the mayor's cat gets stuck in a maze that only someone small can enter, Teeny saves it as her real self and is honored for her bravery. She ends the day deciding she is happy to stay small.

Muffy Misses Out

Tiny admits she was scared the whole time and coped by acting silly, and the group crosses the cave together. In the end Trey confesses he never entered the cave himself and praises his little sister as the truly brave one.

Newly crowned Princess Elena must host King Toshi of Satu while keeping a promise to help her little sister Isabel finish an invention for the fair. Chancellor Esteban quietly manipulates the schedule to make Elena look unready and claim power for himself. Torn between duty and family, Elena finally leaves the royal feast to help Isabel, and they repair the machine together using a spare-parts necklace. King Toshi is impressed that Elena values family as much as her kingdom and agrees to the trade alliance.

Giant Surprise

Heartbroken, Goldie cries at her secret spot until her friends find her and reveal the party was for her all along, marking her gotcha day. The town welcomes her as family and celebrates with a giant cake.

In the town of Foggy Springs, a boy named Max and his pet Sharkdog accidentally delete Mom's news report about the aquarium reopening. The scheme is exposed on air, but the station boss loves it and tickets sell out. Max owns up to the deletion and accepts his consequences, and the family ends the day together.

It copies a flower and a row of mailboxes, then takes on Cony's appearance and wanders into the café where Brown is working, which leaves Brown staring at two identical Conys. The visitor returns to its ship, replays its recordings of the flower, the mailboxes and Brown and Cony crossing the street, and flies away. Brown and Cony end the episode outside the café sharing a drink.

Sharks, Dogs and Sharkdogs

Sharkdog, a half-shark half-dog, is asked to leave the house so Max's family can secretly set up a surprise, and while wandering he starts to feel he does not belong anywhere. He is turned away by the dogs at the park, then meets Barb the seafaring sailor, who joins him to search for where he came from, though all Sharkdog can recall is the sea. When noon arrives he heads home to find the family waiting with a party and a shark-shaped cake. They tell him that fins or feet, he is one of a kind and belongs right there with them.
