The Impossible Dream

A boy named Carl is building a spaceship from boxes, boards and odds and ends he borrows from his neighbour Stillwater, a panda who lives next door. When Carl's brother and sister insist the spaceship will never fly, Stillwater tells him the story of Joku, a farmer who refused to believe it was impossible to catch the sun. Encouraged, Carl decides to keep trying and lowers his sights to getting just a little way up. The episode ends with Carl, Addy and Michael taking turns on a pretend flight, thrilled that it feels like the spaceship is really soaring.

A Perfect Fit

In this Stillwater story, young Carl wants to help his older siblings Michael and Addy build a soapbox racer but feels useless when his offers to help keep getting turned down. Their panda neighbour Stillwater visits with lemonade and tells Carl a fable about Hannah and her cracked water pot, which secretly waters a path of flowers. Encouraged that everyone has a gift, Carl helps pick hard-to-reach lemons, names the racer, and discovers he is just the right size to drive it. The episode ends with Carl steering the finished racer down a hill while his siblings cheer.

Puppy Sitting

Trini agrees to look after Tooey's puppy Key while Tooey's family travels to Japan for a wedding, working from a training checklist Tooey made. At first she spoils Key with cheese and pizza crust and skips his runs, then realises her mistake and trains him hard for several days to get back on track. When Tooey returns, Key responds to his commands and Trini has even taught her own puppy Four Spots a new trick. The episode ends with a live-action visit to the tundra near Nome, where Molly and local children learn about musk ox and their qiviut fur.

Da Get Pep Band

Lyla's mother comes home celebrating a win with her sports team's cheering group, the Get Pep Band, and Lyla's dad and three children decide to try out. The younger children, Mila and Ev, can play the notes of Hot Cross Buns but cannot hold each one for the right number of beats, so they grow frustrated and nearly give up. Lyla refuses to quit and invents a new way to learn: the children hop across giant notes drawn on the ground while singing, feeling the length of each beat with their bodies. It works, and all three join the band for a final celebration.

Dot's Treasure Hunt Adventure

Dot, her friend Hal, her mom (Mrs. C) and her dog Scratch spend the day geocaching, using a map app and riddle clues to track down hidden caches in the woods and by a pond. At each one they sign the logbook and decide whether to swap a small treasure. When Hal's backpack floats toward a storm drain, Mom climbs over to retrieve it. The hunt ends with a group hug and Dot deciding that her family and friends are the best treasures of all, before she signs off.

The Race

Addy prepares for a cross-country race with help from her panda neighbour Stillwater and her siblings. She runs hard but loses to Asha, the fastest runner, and feels there is nothing to celebrate. Stillwater tells a version of The Tortoise and the Hare in which the tortoise races against himself, and Addy realises she set a personal best time. The siblings celebrate with smoothies and Asha comes over to congratulate her.

Buddy Race

Dora is running a buddy race in the park with her friend Alana to raise money to rebuild the city's playground. When Alana twists her ankle just before the start, the group decides that Pablo, Emma, Naya and Kate will each take one section of the race and pass a team flag along. The course takes them through a tandem bike and hula hoop obstacle run, a rhyming music stage, a kayak trip down an underground river and a fruit catching round in costume. Alana returns for the final sports brain teasers, the team finishes, and the announcer confirms the playground will be repaired.

Saving Ayati

In a prehistoric jungle, a group of young dinosaur friends is playing games when their giant long-necked friend Ayati topples over and cannot get back up. Led by the inventive Mazu, they try one plan after another, tickling her, pulling with vines, and levering a boulder off a cliff, each of which fails. In the end they lure the enormous Gigantosaurus with a walnut, and he knocks the boulder loose in a way that finally lifts Ayati to her feet. The friends celebrate as Ayati heads home to the jungle before nightfall.

Super Slugs

Host Jessi and her robot rat Squeaks explore how a sea slug called the emerald Elysia can make its own food from sunlight. From a bright studio set, Jessi explains that plants and algae use chloroplasts to turn light into food, and that the slug keeps those tiny machines running after eating algae. Real footage of slugs, algae and ponds is mixed with simple animated diagrams. The episode closes with Jessi and Squeaks heading to the garden to pick tomatoes for a salad.

The Night Lights of Tenoo

Young Jedi Kai, Lys and Nubs join their friend Celeste on a camping trip to the Blue Forest to watch the yearly night lights. Celeste is so busy taking holo pictures that playful creatures called Lumikas keep stealing her camera, forcing the friends to move camp again and again. After they tumble into a pit, they escape by playing catch with one of the creatures and climb high enough to watch the lights. Celeste sets the camera aside and realizes the moment matters more shared than recorded.

The Search for Mono

Dora, Kate and Pablo are handing out donated toys at the Children's Hospital when they meet Miguel, who has lost his stuffed monkey Mono. After helping him calm down enough to remember that Mono fell out of his bag on the train, they follow the trail to the station, meet a room full of forgotten toys in the lost and found, and repair an old locomotive that carries them to the train yard. There they identify the right carriage just as a cleaning robot starts sealing it, and Pablo's soccer kick opens the door in time. Mono goes back to Miguel, and the leftover toys from the lost and found find homes with the other children.

Pterodactyl-Doodle-Doo

On a ranch where dinosaurs serve as the farm animals, siblings Jon, Min and Miguel are woken each morning by their pterodactyl friend Teddy. After an accident with a hay machine wrecks Teddy's roost, Miguel builds him a fancy new one high on the barn, but Teddy calls out all night and no one can sleep. The children try a new pillow and extra features, then camp out to watch him, and discover that Teddy simply missed sleeping near his friends. They move him back to the clubhouse and the whole ranch finally rests.
