Tusk, Tusk, and More Tusk

Molly and her friends Tooey and Trini discover a large tusk buried in the mud near the river in their Alaska village. Grandpa Nat and an archaeologist named Olin Benedict identify it as a woolly mammoth tusk and explain the Ice Age, permafrost, and how the warming climate erodes the riverbank. The children help free the tusk through trial and error, measure it, photograph it, and give it the Gwich'in name 'Trilzok', meaning gentle. The episode ends with a separate live-action segment where children visit a museum to learn whether dinosaurs once lived in Alaska.

The Qyah Ice Classic

In a small Alaskan village, Molly and her friends start their own Ice Classic, setting up a tripod on the frozen river and guessing when the spring ice will break and topple it. Molly, Trini and Oscar walk home from school in an Alaska village where the winter sun sets in the early afternoon, and Oscar is sure a monster is waiting in the dark. The friends look up sunset times on a weather website, learn about the winter solstice, and try several plans to face the creature. Auntie Midge tells a story about a wolf pup who overcomes its fear of the dark by finding a pack. Emboldened by his friends, Oscar finally confronts the monster and finds it is just a large pile of snow.

Buddy Race

Dora is running a buddy race in the park with her friend Alana to raise money to rebuild the city's playground. When Alana twists her ankle just before the start, the group decides that Pablo, Emma, Naya and Kate will each take one section of the race and pass a team flag along. The course takes them through a tandem bike and hula hoop obstacle run, a rhyming music stage, a kayak trip down an underground river and a fruit catching round in costume. Alana returns for the final sports brain teasers, the team finishes, and the announcer confirms the playground will be repaired.

The Lost Egg

Four young dinosaur friends find a lost egg with no nest during a game of tag in the jungle. Instead of leaving it, they carry it carefully and spend the day asking every creature they meet whether the egg is theirs, meeting a mammal, other dinosaurs and even the towering Giganto along the way. The reluctant Rocky slowly grows attached to the egg and becomes its protector. In the end the egg hatches into Tiny's own baby cousin, and the friends take the little one home.

On a class field trip with Ms. Frizzle, Keisha and Arnold realise they forgot their report and must explain how the green scum on Arnold's shoe connects to Keisha's tuna fish sandwich. The magic school bus shrinks the class down and takes them into the ocean, where they meet phytoplankton, zooplankton, anchovies and finally a tuna. Step by step they discover the ocean food chain and work out that everything is linked. Back in class they present their finished report, and a closing phone call recaps the idea of food chains and webs.

Magical Mermaid Adventure

Dora and her friends are cleaning up a beach and hunting for gold coins their parents hid in the sand when a turtle swims off with their bag. Chasing it by jet ski and raft, they meet the mermaid Mariana, and Dora uses a magic necklace to become a mermaid herself and follow the turtles to the hideout of La Sirena Mala, who has been collecting everyone's gold. Past a net trap, a maze of tunnels and a line of octopus guards, they reach the treasure room and confront her. She scatters the gold, the team gathers it back together, and after she explains that her old team once shut her out, they invite her to join them and she returns the gold and renames herself La Sirena Buena.

Woman Who's Afraid of Spiders Has to Become a Spider Rescuer

A narrator tells the real story of Sherry, a woman afraid of spiders, after a spider she nicknames Legatron builds a web in her houseplant. Over time Sherry stops being scared and grows fond of her, then discovers Legatron has had a huge number of babies just as winter arrives. With advice from spider experts, Sherry gathers ninety-nine baby spiders into cups, feeds and waters them daily, and releases them into the wild once it warms up. Legatron stays on in the plant, and the video closes by reminding children to ask an adult before helping any animal.

Stop That Spinosaurus!

Siblings Jon, Min and Miguel live on Dino Ranch, where dinosaurs take the place of farm animals. After rescuing a family of stegosaurus from a mud pit, they find strange tracks and a Spinosaurus that is charging around and crashing into things. They track and study it until Miguel works out that mud is covering its eyes so it cannot see. Using his homemade dino washer the team sprays the dinosaur's eyes clean, calms it down, and Pa reminds everyone that sometimes you need to take a job slow to do it right.

Don't Cave In

Four young dinosaurs, led by Tiny the triceratops, sneak into a cave that all the bigger dinos warn them to avoid, sure that a fierce monster called Shriekosaurus lives inside. As they work their way deeper, lighting glowing plants and calming their nerves with songs and jokes, they discover the 'monster' is really their friend Iggy protecting a beautiful hidden hangout. Tiny admits she was scared the whole time and coped by acting silly, and the group crosses the cave together. In the end Trey confesses he never entered the cave himself and praises his little sister as the truly brave one.

We Save a Pirate Ship!

Dora and her friends dress as pirates for a festival at an old fort, selling tickets for a ship ride to raise money to turn the fort into a museum. When the rented ship never arrives, Dora promises a boy named Jorge he can still steer, then sets about turning a rowboat into a pirate ship with sails, a flag and a wheel found in the basement. The wheel turns out to be enchanted and pulls her and Pablo into a hidden cave, where a talking pirate ship, a magic charm bracelet, a sea serpent and a band of treasure-stealing pirates are all part of getting back out. They escape with the treasure, the crowd returns to buy tickets, and the museum gets its money.
