Pinecone finally joins the competition herself and then tells her mom plainly that a game is only good when it is fun for everyone. Mom apologizes, the family decides to get rid of the game, and they choose a different one to play together.

Gobo visits the all-knowing Trash Heap, who tells him that friends help, so his friends go into the workshop with him. With their support Gobo retrieves the first message and the Fraggles celebrate.

Once Doc finishes the repair the water rushes back, and Red opens her swimming extravaganza with a diving leap.

In a parallel thread, the inventor Doc leaves to collect an award but hurries home because he misses his dog Sprocket.
